Do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?"

I have heard from several voices this morning people who say they are Christians expressing judgment and hatred toward the "Muslims and Fags" marching in the streets as seen in this video.
Saying horrendous things about them and toward them.

If they really only knew what they were saying they would HOLD their tongue of fire.

Let us see what Jesus says about this in Luke 9:51-56

⁵¹When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem;
 ⁵²and He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him.
 ⁵³But they did not receive Him, because He was traveling toward Jerusalem.
 ⁵⁴When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?"
 ⁵⁵But He turned and rebuked them, [and said, "You do not know what kind of spirit you are of;
 ⁵⁶for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.

I do not justify their actions or lifestyle, but shall such condemnation come from us who are NO JUDGES but who have been or are being judged.
For whence did we come... were any of us without sin?

Oh! I get it my sin is comparative.
You know like man's law, or the Old Covenant.

Well man's law changes from day to day according to the flesh, and God's law is an administration to death for ALL OF US.. thus Jesus went to the cross to redeem us from the law.

To what do you compare your sin or righteousness to?
To man's concept of good and evil, or the holiness of God?
If it is the holiness of God, then this stands true.
Romans 3:10
as it is written," THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;

Judgment begins with the household of God,

Truth is truth.

Christ died for us while WE WERE YET SINNERS - while we were YET HIS ENEMIES - not after we got saved.

It is because of Him we are saved, being saved and will be saved not because we do good, or follow Him, or any of that,

The heart must be changed by the inner presence of Christ taking His rightful throne in our hearts, taking down the temple of the flesh, casting the false prophet, the Beast, the anti-Christ out into the outer darkness, it is not that which goes into a man, that defiles him but that which comes out!
Thus Jesus could say to the demons, COME OUT!

Look inside your heart, who is there:?
Who reigns 24 and 7?

Is it the Son of God, or the BEAST, the Adam man?

 19 Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

The temple of the flesh must come to crucifixion, before we can know and experience resurrection life, and then have the Son take His rightful throne of our hearts.
The law is there as an administration of death. Thou shall not..but you did and I did anyway.

So thus sin becomes exceedingly sinful and destroys us, these people are in destruction under the wrath of God for the moment, their flesh will bring them to death, so that Christ can raise them up, give them new life in the Spirit. 

They must come to know as we all need to come to know, that  the FLESH PROFITS NOTHING...

It is the Spirit that gives us  life.

God WILL move  into every man's life -  He will take all that flesh and do as Paul said to the Corinthians:
1 Corinthians 5:5
I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

But note Paul did not speak of eternal torment, damnation, though this young men was in grievous sin.
He said for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

Note: Paul did not appeal to the authorities of this world to do this, or men's law to take care of the problem as the ekklesia has so been blinded to do, but He said for the Ekklesia to do this, those in the assembly of the "called out one's of God".
Jesus said whatever YOU SHALL BIND ON EARTH SHALL BE BOUND IN HEAVEN.

I hear Christians say all the time about this person or that person.

"They need to go to jail forever or need capital punishment or we need to send the powers to kill them, drop bombs on them and all such foolishness  which is of the flesh of men."

But He turned and rebuked them, [and said, "You do not know what kind of spirit you are of;  ⁵⁶for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.


Paul told the Corinthians even in simple matters this:

 1 Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints?
 2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?
 3Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?
 4So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church?
 5I say this to your shame Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren,
 6 but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?
 7Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

8 On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and defraud. You do this even to your brethren.

Note even though he spoke to those who seemed were already suppose to be saints.

YOU DO THIS EVEN TO YOUR BRETHERN!

What brethren?
He goes onto say this:
 9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

and here is the final blow that brings this into context who all our brethren are:

11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

The very one's to which he spoke of in verses 9 and 10.

Yes, you see, we have brethren both who are saints and sinners, and since, those who are still children of disobedience which if we are walking with Him now, we are now children of obedience, sons of God, but it never changes our relationship to that which Christ has brought us from and where we are now. We are all children just the same.
Though some are Son now and some are not, but it is the faith of Christ to which we have been graced, that not of our own. It's all grace.

God is revealing here, what his wrath is upon the unrighteous, they are a in a state where they know not the Kingdom of God, and we His people often bind and loose, but it is always God's work though. We were all bound in sin it is He that loosed us from it's power but it's been given to us, to loose others from it's sting, death in this life, by prayer and intercession for our brethren that are yet may still be, children of disobedience. How are we to do this? 
By Forgiveness that to which we received and love that to which we received, we didn't get it by our own efforts it has BEEN GIVEN TO US AND ALL MEN - JUST ALL MEN DO NOT KNOW IT YET and HOW SHALL THEY KNOW UNLESS SOMEONE IS SENT. 

Forgiveness and love-  not by calling down fire upon them!

We present the Gospel the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST not so much by what we say we believe but by how we treat others, both children of disobedience and children of obedience, Israel of the Spirit,  Israel of the Flesh.


In this case of the young man caught in sin, Paul is about to demonstrate the very truth of God. We His people should follow Paul's example, we are not to use the world's authority to correct our brethren any of them children of disobedience or those who were in obedience for a time.
The world will take care of it's own but we are not of the world, we are only in it.

We are to see what Paul is demonstrating here is how God works upon ALL HIS CHILDREN, not a form of doctrine of church practice but of spiritual realities.

Remember Paul is giving a carnal people spiritual lessons here less we become confused by it, and begin a whole new age of inquisition and torture..
but wait isn't that exactly why so many "christians" support the ideas of capital punishment, war, hatred, racism, etc.?
 
Those that are in disobedience right now, are not experiencing, enjoying living in the presence of God's love for we know that, for the Kingdom of God is not a place but a state of being, whereby it is righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit.
Their due punishment is upon them even now, they are under the wrath of God. They are only looking for a fleshly way out and none shall be found, they are as Sodom and Gomorrah was, they want others to join them in their flesh so that they might justify their flesh, but God will justify no man's flesh, but crucify it! 

God delivers such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

There is no such thing as a carnal Son, there are carnal children,(children of disobedience) the church has mislabeled these even in their churches as carnal Christians.
As if they were Sons but living like the devil... SORRY NO SUCH THING
they are are sons but only adopted sons because the Father's  love for all of us expressed in Christ for all men, in His reconciling all of us to God.
Forgiving us all our trespasses.

ALL MEN HAVE BEEN RECONCILED TO GOD AND FORGIVEN THEIR  SIN AND THE LAW IS REMOVED AS A CURSE UPON US...but not ALL HAVE YET BEEN CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF HIS SEED - HIS SON~ Jesus Christ.

The promise was to the Seed, not the seeds, there are millions of seeds but without the SEED we are just seeds. God implanted the SEED within us ALL.
Though still His creation, still loved by Him. He will not lose one of us seeds because of the SEED!
Gods Will is for us ALL TO BE CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF HIS SON and not just being any child, adopted children, but A SON OF GOD by His blood and union of LIFE!

Thus His seed is implanted in our hearts as the incorruptible SEED so that SEED can grow up into the very tree of  Life within us to HIS GLORY.
God did this when He poured out His Spirit upon ALL FLESH.
Done deal-. God came to dwell with men.
We can no more activate that germination  of ourselves-our seed to become like the SEED then we can by our own will power have THE SEED put in their in the first place.

Unless God do the watering, by the washing of the WATER OF THE LIVING WORD our seed is there, and His SEED, but until God germinates HIS SEED, then we remain seeds, that may be yet in rocky ground, or often the flesh (the power of death- the diabolos,the devil) steals it for awhile, the cares and the riches don't allow it to grow,so the Father has to turn the soil, remove the rocks, take out the other cares, cast off the evil,  and the good SEED Jesus Christ inside will germinate and it IS THE FATHER THAT  REPLACES THE SOIL AS WELL by removing the flesh from us, AND  IN DUE TIME, and THEN HE THAT IS THE GOOD SEED WILL GERMINATE and the other seeds will be like seeds of the SEED.
The soil is all that old flesh and nothing more, God has to remove that soil so that HIS SEED THAT HE HAS PUT INSIDE OF EVERY MAN may come forth and produce.
this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty."


Matthew 13:37
And He said, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,

1. Romans 1:18
   For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

The unrighteousness of men unless God intervenes by grace in our own lives will continue to even manifest itself eventually  into the depth of the sin of homosexuality.  The wrath of God is upon them, they know it not yet, but when AIDS or illness or mental illness results because of it, the temporal work of the adversary.. look at Job, the only instance in which Satan actually does something to Job, the rest of it, was all the natural evils that came on the outside of Job's life, loss of family, home, goods, slaves, etc.THE BOILS CAME OF DIRECT CONTACT FROM THE ADVERSARY....for what purpose to destroy the flesh.

Was this young man in Corinthians to be in that place forever of destruction of course not! Eternal Torment?
Of course not. He was yet a child of disobedience, a child all the same because of creation and God seeing him through His eyes, not the eyes of men. Judging according to the flesh!

Paul makes it very clear that his being turned over to destruction has purpose, will and God's counsel in it.
Some must go through this all the way to physical death until the day of the Lord comes for them as well in God's eternity, God's time, not ours or for some it comes in their lifetime, regardless they will repent, either in this life or the life to come when the day of the Lord comes to them. 
The carnal man looks to the future in carnal things for that which is called the day of the LORD.  You must see it's spiritual relevance and meaning which goes way beyond those ideas of men's imaginations.

Jesus comes (appears)  as HE did for this young man before he died, we read in 2 Corinthians this:

5 But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow not to me, but in some degree--in order not to say too much--to all of you.

 6 Sufficient for such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the majority,

 7 so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a one might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

 8 Wherefore I urge you to reaffirm your love for him.

 9 For to this end also I wrote, so that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things.

 10 But one whom you forgive anything, I forgive also; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ,

 11 so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

See God puts ALL MEN of FLESH TO THE FIRE of  the ADVERSARY, over to that which will oppose the very flesh of men... The serpent would eat dust for now on - men, flesh man is mere dust -thus all men die, physically, and aging is nothing more then disease, sickness that which is our due punishment, but not our due state of eternal presence for it is God that brings us immortality in due time.
All of us must endure a time in the wilderness, either here or over there, the temporal punishment of the flesh, but the sin nature which would condemn us all to that eternal state of death was dealt by the work of God in Christ at Calvary. Christ delivers us into the promised land, for you see HE IS THAT PROMISED LAND!


The Spirit of life is that which God breathed into all of us, that He may show His forgiveness and bring restoration, and thus we then praise Him, love Him because we find this to be true.

Who among you is without sin? Let him cast the first stone.

1 John 4:19
We love, because He first loved us.

It is when God has brought you through the fires of his love, through the destruction of the flesh, where you cry out to Him, then the Word of God says this will transpire, there my friend is repentance!

Romans 10:13
for " WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

and see this,please may your eyes be opened by the Almighty One, and your ears to hear,  it is important everything I am writing here is spiritual truth the carnal mind cannot grasp it, understand it.You may even now object to it. The carnal mind cannot receive that which is spiritual, it can't comprehend it, even a little.

God has to open your eyes and ears.

As He says also in Hosea," I WILL CALL THOSE WHO WERE NOT MY PEOPLE, 'MY PEOPLE,'AND HER WHO WAS NOT BELOVED, 'BELOVED.'"

The Unforgiving Debtor

I often wonder why Christians are so unforgiving, often they are more unforgiving then others, of others sins against them. It seems that it must be that somehow they still have the idea, that they somehow stand before God on their own righteousness.
In the book of Matthew, we read of a story that Jesus uses to illustrate, not just how He is, but how our heavenly Father is, and how much more if we have the Spirit of Christ in us, we should be.
It is a story that you don't often here in today's "feel good about yourself" sermons or the hell fire and damnation sermons of judgmental preachers of doom.

I would like to repeat that story exactly here as Jesus tells it as written by Matthew, who understood this most of all. See Matthew was a tax collector, one of the most hated by the people of his time, as often they are in our time.
The point is not about money though, the point Jesus is making here is about our Father's relationship to us, and how much more our relationship should be with others. My quote is from the NIV Bible.
Matthew 18:20-35
21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"

22Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

23"Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him. 25Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

26"The servant fell on his knees before him. 'Be patient with me,' he begged, 'and I will pay back everything.' 27The servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

28"But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he demanded.

29"His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.'

30"But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened.

32"Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?' 34In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

35"This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."

We see here Peter trying to be gracious, when he ask Jesus should I forgive SEVEN times? See for the Rabbi's taught that you only had to forgive someone only three times, and then that was it- your out.
Not so much different then the Noahdic laws we have adopted for society, most States have adopted this as the - "three times and your out law". This is defined as that once a person has committed a criminal act and been found guilty of one should they commit an act, any act a third time, they get life imprisonment.
This recently happened to a man who stole a candy bar, it was his 3rd time for a crime, and now he is serving a life sentence for that. Just? Justice?
Christians have adopted this thinking, just like the rest of the world. We seek to punish, to extract vengeance, to see that someone pays for their life of crime or harm they have done us.
Yet, here Jesus has just got through teaching on "whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose shall be loosed in heaven". Here we think this gives us the power to bind and loose others, which in essence is what our Savoir is saying, but in a much more meaningful way then we consider.
So now he extrapolates even further his teaching with Peter's question.
Peter thought he was being gracious, using the complete number of "seven" times, but watch what Jesus does with his graciousness, which is limited, like our own at most times in this life in our dealings with others and even our laws of our land.
The body of Christ, His bride, His "church" is to be separate from the world's thinking, separate from the world's ways of doing things. This is why even Paul in his teaching in the book of Corinthians, corrects the Christians who would sue one another for not bringing it before the body of Christ instead of the world. How often are Christians doing that these days, in direct contradiction to a clear directive from Paul. Where did Paul get such a teaching from? Did Paul just make it up as he went along. Did Paul develop some new church doctrine? I tell you, no, he did not.
We will see that he got it from Jesus teaching. For Paul who once sought to kill and murder and destroy, what he considered "the chosen nation of God's" enemy, Christians, his heart had been changed by an encounter with the "real Jesus Christ", not the fictional one of tradition and mens teachings as we have so much of today.
Does Jesus apply this to the whole of governments of the world? Most often not. This teaching will never be understood by the world or it's governments. It's very simple to know the reason why, because we know, no matter what government, it is not God's government, it is not His Kingdom. This is not to say he doesn't allow men to govern, he does, but He has not chosen them as representatives of Himself, history proves otherwise.
All governments which are merely made of people, fall under the same condemnation we all do- "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Yes, even the United States, no less and no more then others.
Once again Jesus shows that those in His government, His kingdom are Kingdom people, that we are to be separate from the world, in all our dealings with others, and how we perceive individuals should be treated. Christ doesn't limit the forgiveness that God give us, nor that which was given to us, when He looked down from the cross and said, "Father forgive them".
Christ tells Peter, "I tell you, not seven times; but seventy times seven."
Why does Jesus give this number? Seven is a complete number under Jewish belief, but even Seven has an ending to it, though what was considered a perfect number. Seventy times Seven is an infinite number, meaning there is no end to it. Thus Jesus says, "Be ye perfect as your heavenly Father is" in His Sermon on the Mount.
Oh! how the body of Christ kicks this one out the door because of our religiosity at times. most often as individuals, we have forgotten who we were and who we are, a forgiven people.
We are a people that deserve no less than the death sentence for our sins.
Eternal spiritual separation from our Father in heaven, if He thought and acted as we do that would be all of our fates. But the Good News is: He doesn't!
Jesus emphasizes this again, the forgiveness for which we have been given, and in Matthew 6:14, where He has once already spoken this explaining once again to us what we like to repeat together as the Lord's prayer with little attention paid to it's words.
14"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Jesus speaks to us, again from the heart of our heavenly Father.
Previous to this, Jesus has again painted not only a very clear picture for the body of Christ as to the will of our Father in heaven, but He give us more insight to the way our Father deals with us and all mankind, whether just or unjust.
Let us read this together- Matthew 5:43-47
43"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
There it is in a nutshell. "Do not even pagans do that?" He tells them in regards to their treatment of others, do you only treat those that are good to you that treat you good, do you only treat those that you consider just with goodness? If so, then I will say it no clearer then He did, how can you call yourself sons of the living God?
You say, " I am a Christian", yet are your thoughts the same as that of the world when it comes to justice, or the treatment of others who have offended you? Think again. What makes you any different then they?
When 911 happened, I was sure that President Bush who claimed to be a Christian would call for prayer and only prayer. Instead I heard him cry for vengeance!
I heard then tens of thousands of Christians following right behind him and saying the same.
It wasn't until the teachings of a Catholic monk, Augustine that the body of Christ even considered nullifying the Word of God for the traditions of men, with his concept and teaching of "justified war". No disciple of Christ had even considered such until Augustine, they didn't take up sword, except the one time, Peter did, and Our Lord, told him to put it away. Those who live by the sword, die by the sword, so here we are again, with thousands of young men coming home in caskets from abroad.

The body of Christ has given precedent to this Monk, more then the Word of God, or even considering who they are, and just how, they were saved. Too often the false doctrine of men having a "free will" has pervaded the "church", rather then the Word of God, that reveals it is the Father that draws us and that we couldn't save ourselves if we tried!
Jesus makes this clear when Peter tells Him that He is the Son of God, Jesus in turn tells Peter, that is the Father who has revealed that to him! His body, are the people that the Father has revealed himself to.
The world will never fathom who Jesus Christ is, until His people, those claiming that the very resurrected life of Christ through the Holy Spirit is alive in them, begin to think and act, as Jesus did and does. As long as we sound like the world, look like the world and act like the world, they will never see Jesus Christ for whom He is the "Prince of Peace."
There can be no peace in this world even among believers as long as each one has been harmed by another, and they find no forgiveness for one another. There can be no love, in a world that hates and is at constant war with others. We pray, " thy kingdom come, thy will be done", but then in the next breath, we express words of hatred, and discord against anyone, any nation, any group of people that we perceive that have harmed us.
Once again, just like the Pharisees, we have nullified the Word of God, for the traditions of men!
When will the body of Christ ever get it right?
When I ask, when?
I will tell you when, when the body of Christ opens their hearts and their ears to truth, inexplicable truth and the Word of God, the living Word- Jesus Himself. No greater love can one have...
We even have erroneously converted the act of God, as one of punishment, on Christ for us. God is not angry folks, he is not the God of the shadowy Old Testament, but the revealed truth in that one person, that loved the unloved, and brought salvation to all of us, who did not deserve it. If God was a God of the justice that men portray Him to be, He would never have allowed His Son, to go to the Cross, rather each one of us would get what we deserved individually and directed at us as such, not at His only begotten Son.
We each of us right now, would still be " dead in sin and trespasses", and God wouldn't lift a finger to deliver us from the death which we were in.
See, "Christ died for us, while we were yet His enemies!"
How willing are you to love others, forgive others, act differently from this world. Justice, Our Father in heaven's "justice" is compassion and mercy to those who have offended Him how much more if we claim to have God as our Father should we show compassion and mercy to all men.
BTW- there is a payment for not doing so- Jesus warned- we shall be treated as we treat others for sure by our Father, He will allow this, to drive out the hatred in our lives, to bring us to his compassion and mercy, so that in seeing it, we too will become "perfect like our Heavenly Father is."
Read again the end of the story of the "Unforgiving Debtor". It's time for those who desire to call themselves by His name, to quit using His name in vain, and I am not talking about the proverbial curse word either. If we are who we claim to be, then forgiveness is the heart of God, mercy and compassion are the acts of God.
Will you forgive today, someone who has harmed you, done you wrong, or will you have to be tormented until you pay the last dime? I pray that you will forgive, not seven times, but infinitely as our Lord has taught us. God is love, we love because He first loved us. This is what will set us apart from the world, and the world will see we are the light of the world and the salt of this earth. Do we want to appear as a "Christian Nation" to the world, then perhaps we should exemplify rather then nullify, the life of Christ in our dealings with our neighbors, our family, our friends, and most of all with those that we perceive as our enemies! Believe it or not, there are those who do call themselves Christian who have done just that, just look to our Quaker and Anabaptist brethren, who have heeded the Word of God, and not twisted it like most American Protestants have.
