A Theorem On The Coming Chaos - Are You Scared Yet?

I enjoy watching Glenn Beck. My reasoning is, that he is a researcher like me. He educates himself, and then shares what he has learned with others. What he has learned is all fact, which most of the Communist and Fascist seeking to destroy this nation fear being told. They fear people, like Glenn, myself and others whose minds are awakened to seek truth, rather than the fiction thrown at us every day by the spin doctors.
I have held to a theory for sometime now, there is a "most secret plot" by people in high places to destroy everything America ever stood for. Kruschev promised that the Communist would take us over from within, not without. We are seeing those days in their beginnings.
Now as a Christian, I am not saying that everything we did was or has been righteous or perfect. Sure enough America and it's people have been as guilty of sin in politics, economics, and how we treat other people's as any nation on earth. However, ultimately, our forefathers, whether Christian or not, understood the principle of the equality of men. This principle is clearly laid out by Paul in the book of Roman's. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God", and all of us, not just a few, need something spectacular to change that nature of men, bent on sin. "Christ is that answer", Paul makes that perfectly clear!
All men are born equal - that is a truth, as God created us all, and with that we do have inalienable rights. Each men as a fallen creature can seek life, liberty and happiness. The nature of fallen men, is however too often centered in his own pursuit of these things without regard for that of others.
In Christ we can truly find, that we can live in a balance of finding that God provides, true life, true liberty and true happiness- I prefer to call it everlasting internal joy. Happiness is a word I associate with the fact that we only seem to be happy when our happenings, (our circumstances) seem not to do us personal evil. So Christians are enamored with Joy, not just happiness, we can keep that joy in the worst of circumstances by staying centered in Christ and His revealed love for us.
Happiness alone as a goal can be self centered.
Joy is centered in the Christ life in you.

All the same, I do believe that governments historically because of the perversity of men, those in power, seek more power, and are motivated to ultimate power, that is power over others, and to obtain that power will use any means necessary to obtain it. War, deception, economics, religion, etc.
I believe there are some things going on, that we have been tricked like the illusionist using card tricks to make us stand amazed at what seems impossible.
The Illusionist works his trick to draw our attention from the hand that is making the moves, to make the trick work, to look at the innocent hand, that is doing all the movement as if there is power in that hand to perform true magic, while all along the magicians other hand is busy making it all look like something real when it is not. He is manipulating the objects that will soon appear magically.
This is illusion utilizing deception and diversion.

I see the immigration issue has been well plotted to draw our attention away from the real culprits coming into this country illegally. They (whoever these secret evil power workers are) have created a deception, a diversion, an illusion, utilizing division given us two sides to keep us from power in unity.
One side is based on human selfishness for their personal well being of jobs, from crime, etc. while on the other hand, in doing this, they create the issue of compassion for people, a care for the immigrant, who is suppose to only be seeking better jobs, a better life, etc. This side, who try to seem humane, but in truth often have their own evil self centered objectives in mind, seek to pay continual lower wages, provide less than safe and healthy housing, and pay a lot less overhead to maintain their business.
They like to use arguments like: our forefathers came over here, the same way, seeking a better life, so why shouldnt these people be able to do so, after all we wouldnt be here, if someone would have been here that believed the same way we do - hatred of illegal immigrants. Let's be honest, the American Indian only reacted the same way, most people are. "Don't come here and force your way in, to steal my natural resources, ability to live, and feed my family, I'll fight back.
Hmm.. seems we have been on the opposite of the border ourselves!
They are both right in their own minds, and what happens the shift of focus of the people is to get us to be locked in battle with one another.
I wrote about this in an email recently on the old technique of Divide and Conquer, historically used time after time when government or those seeking to become the power, sneak in their real agenda their real goal while the division is in place, it always keeps the people in check less they become the power, and the elitist lose theirs.
So, while all this is going on, the illegals still cross the borders.
Fox News tonight revealed videos of men carrying hundreds of pounds of drugs into this country, along with high powered rifles. Of course here is where my theorem comes in.
Interesting enough I went on the Internet to look up Securebordersinfo.org from whence the video came and was suppose to be on and the site was not accessible for some strange reason...hmm...

Before, I tell you what I am thinking, let me say, I love all people of all races, creeds, color and religion, even as Christ did and does.
I have no dislike of any particular group of any people, I only hate sin, and evil.
When I see it, I point it out, make people think, for themselves.
I do not hate the people of countries simply because they are Muslim or look Muslim. I do not hate the "Mexican's or those that look "Mexican". Some of my dearest friends are of Hispanic origin, and I have a niece married to man who has both Hispanic and Asian origin, and a daughter married to a man who is half Hispanic, and I love all of them, with all my heart.

I believe they are as worthy of the preaching of the Gospel and the living of the Gospel towards them as I was and am, Christs love makes us worthy, we have no worthiness in ourselves.
We are to love our enemies. Our kingdom to which we live in, is Christ Kingdom an everlasting one, and it is a spiritual kingdom not of "this world".
Most Christians if a few even understand these words of our Lord.
They and all people are worthy because in Christ, the love He expressed for all men at the cross was for them as well as "Americans".

It may be true, it may not, but in retrospect, if there is truth to it, it gives credibility to my "theorem of the coming chaos".

Happenings in Fresno ... FYI
We now live about 30 miles from Fresno . We are up in the Sierras and Fresno
is the first big town we encounter when we leave the mountains. We shop there
often. I received this from my ex-homicide partner who is still active
in law enforcement circles in the Fresno area.

If You weren't at Rotary Friday. You missed the only decent speaker we've had in more than a year. LTC John Cotter is the 144th Fighter Wing's anti-terrorism officer. John had a two-part presentation. First part was describing his job as the units anti-terrorism officer. Pretty standard stuff.

The second part was information that will curl your hair. A part-time air guardsman works as a checker at a local Von's. Two women in full burkas buy every prepaid cellphone in the store. Clerk/airman gets to thinking about it. Goes to Cotter and reports incident. Cotter asks store for surveillance video. It's scary enough that he contacts Fresno FBI.

FBI investigates, determines these women have been doing this all over the Valley. Cell phones shipped through Canada to Iraq/Afghanistan where they become triggers for roadside bombs.
The Shell station at Peach and Shaw. Every time a local GI goes there in fatigues they are asked specific questions. What is your unit? When are you deploying? How many aircraft are you taking?

The F-16s out of Fresno fly CAP for west coast. As such they are the first line of defense so they have the US 's most sophisticated air-to-air missiles. Foreign governments would like to get their hands on those missiles or at least learn how to build them. Also how many we have, etc. Two spy groups are working on it, one based at Fashion Fair Mall (the F-16s take-off pattern) and one based at Sierra Vista Mall (the F-16s landing pattern).

Cotter said the ragheads (But we don't profile.) are always probing the base. Two dorks in a pickup show up at the front gate wanting to deliver a package marked Air National Guard, Fresno . No postage, no UPS, no FedEx, no DHL, no nothing. Just a probe.

I asked Cotter why we haven't seen anything about this in The Bee, on KMJ, on local TV news. He said they're not interested. Since Friday I've learned of two other things. My brother-in-law Frank, (management at Avaya) had a Muslim tech who took a leave-of-absence for 6 weeks in Afghanistan . After the 6 weeks were up he called from New York requesting an extension. Frank (who does profile) said, you're fired, and called the Fresno FBI who were very interested. Don't know the outcome.

A Muslim who owns a liquor store in my former hometown of Kingsburg was constantly bugging customers to buy guns for him. Finally one of the guys I grew up with called the FBI.

We are a country at war and the enemy is among us. I don't care what Janet Napolitano says, it's a fight to the death and we should be prepared as possible. Brother-in-law Frank has a theory and I think it may be closer to the truth than Homeland Security wants to admit. There are a certain number (probably a large number) of Muslims among us who are awaiting the trigger date and will begin randomly killing as many of us as they can, sort of a Fort Hood on steroids. I know I'm getting prepared to shoot back.

Two items of interest. Sheriff Margaret Mims wants to grant concealed carry permits to all who are qualified. Columnist Jim Boren, among the most bleeding of the bleeding heart liberals, says it's time for Fresno residents to arm themselves.
LOAD up, you can bet this is happening in places other than Fresno .

I know there is a lot of slanderous speech in it, and proposed conspiracy, and the idea that guns and bullets are needed, etc. I don't agree with the viewpoints necessarily, I just ponder over the facts, if true.
However, let me tell you some facts, I have noted there are Pakistanians, and some others of nation's where supposedly the Taliban and Alqaeda are recruited, funded and trained, who fit "the profile"..blah blah, that speak Spanish very well, that do live among us.
We talk to them often, without paying attention to the details. We often run into them in our stores, gas stations, hotels, and more.
I also know from some former work I did by the names of individuals I spoke with, there is a large population of people especially in the El Paso, Texas region who have "the typical" first and last names, we are all so familiar in hearing associated with alleged Islamic leaders. This much provided information comes to per television news. Names like Mohammed, Furak,and, etc.
Names that send a signal to our brains and we think, Aha!, "he must be from Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, etc.
Oh, yes and they are drawing benefits from our benevolent services provided by Federal and State governments.
Many to most are not U.S. citizens, they may or may not have Visas, which really means little in this day of identity theft and our present laws that provide certain social services to individuals who do not have to be U.S. citizens.
I know I spent 2 years serving and working in Social Services, providing these services to the people.
Now, based on the features of the men, dark hair, dark eye color- most often, and over all physical appearances of the people we meet, who often tell us what countries they are from, I can tell you it would be more than easy for thousands if not at least several hundred "Islamic fanatics "to disquise themselves as " Mexicans". All they have to do, is learn the language, the culture, the mannerism, and fit in.
We as Americans often used this deception in former wars, "blonde men, with blue eyes", to infiltrate German troops. I am sure even now we may have some Hispanic true blood Americans who have been trained to infiltrate the Taliban or others in Iraq and in Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc. I am sure of it. Men don't change in tactics, just governments.
It only makes sense.
Language often in many places in the world is the only thing that divides us.
I don't speak British, French, Irish Gaelic or Scottish, or New Zealander, yet my heritage and physical appearance fits all these "profiles" if trained to talk like them, I could decieve someone into thinking I was a natural citizen of that country.

While working private investigations you learn to dress and act like the people in the area you are working in, especially while doing surveillance, or undercover work.
The last thing you want to do is stand out like a sore thumb.
The old adage that is often told on television and movies is that the FBI are always picked out by their "3 piece suits and ties".
That isn't always the case, my friend. They know the rules of subterfuge as well and practice it as well as any old P.I. does.

Now here is my theory which does follow along with some of what you read in the email.
Just what if the poor Hispanics are taking the brunt of our hatred, which creates this division of the people in America over personal selfish economics versus human compassion and the ideal of all people deserve a better life at no matter what cost to American indivudals or sovereignty.
What if this is the division being caused simply to keep us looking at the wrong hand of the magician, while he works his magic with the other hand.

An invasion within America of Muslim fanatics to create the great chaos, which will turn America into a Police State much like Israel has or even worse, and is.
Before you quit reading this, let me say, I am not anti-semitic either, though accused of being so because I don't agree with present day eschatology of Darby and Scofield.
I believe they, the people of Israel, Hebrews, "Jews" as anyone- Christ died for them as well and especially came to deliver the Gospel to them first.
The term Jew is really an inappropriate term but even used by me at times, because we have become accustomed to the use of it, describing people in Israel and those we believe who are members of the Jewish religion. We even say Christ was a Jew, which is a slang word, and really that can only apply to those born of the tribe of JUDAH as He was.
We forget that Israel, the old Hebrew nation had 10 tribes to which Paul the Apostle was from one of them, the tribe of Benjamin. So this word really can't be used to apply to all the people living in Israel, they are from many origins, Germany, Poland and even America, and claim heritage as a Jew. We can't even tell if that is true or not after the dispersion in 70 a.d when Jerusalem fell to Rome, most if not all tribes were enslaved by the Romans, and eventually mixed with the Romans and other people of many nations.
Matter of fact, not all of the old Hebrew nation may have even lived in the Holy Land, during the time of Christ, many were dispersed among nations all over the world under the Old Dispersion by Babylonians and the Ayssrians, and only a few returned to the Holy Land and lived there in the times of Jesus. Though the population was more centralized in the area directly around Jerusalem at the time, it was made up of many more tribes then the present political nation Israel can lay claim to. I doubt if many of them could illustrate and prove their genealogy, as is given in the Bible for the one's mentioned in the Old Testament, right up to Christ, that could trace their heritage back to the beginning of time.
I am sorry, but I don't belive they are God's chosen people living and trying to take over all the land there in Israel.
These people are Zionist, and have some extreme political views, with little regard to God or His commandments, or even Christ or Christians, other than desiring to continue the income they recieve from tourism from Christians that travel to visit the sights of the Bible times. Those that call themselves, Orthodox Jews here in America, say the same thing about the formulation of the nation of Israel, it isn't Torah. They are against it and have some excellent material to read, if you care to at least open your mind to truth, once and awhile.
The only people that the New Testament teaches that are the TRUE ISRAEL - are the one's circumcized of the heart, Christians! Paul makes this very clear in the book of Romans.
Christ is the true Israel (see the book of Hebrews) and all those that belong to Him, regardless of race they are one in Him. This is the "mystery of God", that was revealed and completed in Christ. This is explained in Ephesians Chapter Two very well, if you ever bother or care to read it, and rid yourself of the Zionist theology and eschatology.
I don't prefer Palestinians eithers, unless they too are my Christian brothers and sisters and they suffer as much or more than all the people over there.

Now to leave my digression I want to return to the subject at hand, though I do believe there are some Zionist behind the plans to see us become like them, and they will use any method to do so.
The last several spies caught in major spying in this nation were Zionist from Israel. Study and you will find I am not lying about this, it can be Googled as well.

I am sorry, but when chaos breaks out, then someone has to come along to still the chaos, bring in new organization and instill new government, even martial law, to insure "domestic tranquility, even at the cost of your personal liberties!
These are the people that are seeking to rule over us, who want nothing more but ultimate sweet power as elitist to rule every part of your life- to own you, per se.
They not only want charge of your money, your education, you jobs, private business, your health, but every aspect of your life. In government, this is called Totalitarism. A Police State - Communism or Fascism, either one, removes you from the equation and puts a few in rule over all the rest. Elitism, is what I call it. They are the elite, and we are the sheep that need not only to be dumbed down, but corralled and held in check. To be led like dumb sheep to the slaughter.

Internal conflicts in Russia insured that Lenin and then Stalin would soon rule Russia.
The wars between the bourgeois and the proletariats helped to bring about the change that Lenin sought.
All the while leading to less freedom and more enslavement under the elitist rule of Communism. Stalin's rule was supreme Police State, totalitarian to the maximum, where the government was your purest benefactor, as long as you went along with that. Less you speak out, and end up dead, tortured or disappearing in the night to the Siberian Gulag. The best plans of dictators, include silencing, name calling and criminal accusation of those who oppose them.
Gee, have we heard that lately from the left and even the right..?
The facts leading up to Hitler's rule were as follows.
Hitlers blamed the burning of the Reischtag on the Russians, this only diverted the attention of the people from the real culprit- Hitler his SS troops were the one's that did the actual deed)but it was enough to make the people fear the Russians and Hitler was only waiting in the wings to become their Supreme Commander, Dictator, Master.
Right after this is when Hilter was provided complete rule, and then he initiated the "Emergency Powers Act", it read like a version of the "Patriot Act", it didnt really insure the people's security so much as it removed their liberties, privacy, etc, and insured his ruling supreme without interference from rebels. Stalin came and remained in rule for years and East Germany used the Stazi- the East German Secret Police, to have everybody spying on everybody, as enemies of the State.
How many Americans have read the Patriot Act, or the Health Plan, etc. I guarantee, you haven't you rely on the "experts" for what they say... read them..you will be surprised what you learn!
How many even know the little bit of history I just presented you above? Not many of you I am sure, because you have become apathetic, and don't care to know, as long as you can drive a new car, have a job.
They can do that in Russia and China as well. Who want's to live there, not me!

What if this email is true?
What if the real reason behind the borders not having been locked down, is because the division in this country created by the spin doctors, the trained propagandist, is to keep us all shouting at one another, blaming the "Mexicans" for our troubles, and all the while, "the real enemy" (Islamic fanatics)are the one's coming across the borders by the droves, with guns, and drugs to raise more money for more guns and their ultimate plan of chaos in the streets of America?
Somebody knows these things, I can promise you! There are those that are working this plan right now, reading this, and shocked that I know their plans!
I am not the first, there are thousands of us who are awake and not asleep, examining, searching, researching, looking for these facts every day, and finding them. There are too many of us yet, for the plan to work perfectly, we must be silenced, we must be dumbed down, like they are doing our children in their public brain washing institutions they call schools, where history is no longer taught. Where little of anything is taught to be factual then things about "my two mommies, or "how to text too your friends", or "how to create an Internet Social page".
This generation, my generation, we are getting old, and soon shall pass from this world, what will be left?
I am sorry to say, but our poor children are being dumbed down, so they can easily be transitioned into the land of the FREE DUMB!
Oh, they will have jobs, healthcare, money, lives, all provided by their benefactors - the NEW WORLD ODOR...order, but I think it stinks so bad I can smell it from here, kind of like the oil rolling up on the beaches along the Gulf of Mexico.
Let me provide another example of dumb down - if you accept 911 on the official story, then someone still needs to cry foul, we have the greatest surveillance and spying weapons and technology in the world, we have spent trillions on National Defense since the Cold War, and yet we are to accept and swallow the story that these guys came to America (the 14 terrorist) and took flying lessons, made plans to high-jack planes and nobody in the intelligence community knew about it! If that is the case, I would say their name "intelligence" is a misnomer..!
Come on, to me that is a more absurd story then what they say about us who believe otherwise about the facts of 911.
Conspiracy nuts, yes you know it, and how often has conspiracy proved the rule of the day? How many time has it been the true facts behind, changes of rule, and governments in history. The killing of Caesar in Rome by the Senate, the killing of Jesus was a conspiracy. Luke says the Pharisees, begin right after Lazarus was raised to form a conspiracy to kill the both of them. "Can't have a former dead guy walking around town"- the truth would draw the people after Jesus, so let's kill them both!
The harrassment of Paul was a conspiracy of 40 Jews who swore they would put an end to Paul, the Apostle.
The conspiracy of the first leader of China, who brought that nation to Communism. The conspiracy of CEO's and others in the corporate world, like Enron.
Get real folks, conspiracy is real, and it goes on everyday, even in the workplace where workers conspire against other workers because they dislike an individual. Wake up, conspiracy is a fact of life!

When I was a young man in my early 20's, I practiced doing illusions and got pretty good at it, I might say. I did a few birthday parties doing magic for people.
I know how it works, nothing ever is as it seems to the onlooker, it is all about the patter (your talk) and making the right practiced moves, with one hand and your talk draws your attention away from the hand that is really doing the concealing or revealing of an object.
It is deception in it's purest form, some call it magic, but it is deception, making you believe something is true while the real truth is concealed. You never know the truth, until someone and in some cases the magician shows you how he did it.
Oh you wonder at times, but you just can't put your finger on it.
"How did he do that"?

What if, all that you listen to on the news, all the rhetoric is a diversion, a deception meant for you from seeing what is really going on.
I believe it is, most of the time.I research, and study and discover truth.
The truth is often more bizarre than the illusion that the news media puts out there. Even some conspiracy sites, often get real bizarre with their theories, aliens, reptilians, etc.
I don't buy those, they are absurd.
However, there are others, who have the credibility and the inside info and do tell truth.
You have to always seek to verify facts. As a former Private Investigator, there are many observations and theories, but in the end you must deduct the facts and then report them.
I sign all my emails with a favorite quote of mine from the Sherlock Holmes books, it reads:

Now back to Glenn Beck, he wrote a book called "The Overton Window".
The Overton Window is an interesting political thereom, however I think there is more going on then just trying to get us to accept some things, by making minor and sometime radical shifts of the window on popular thought or acceptance of things.
I think that whoever is the power behind the BIG CARD TRICK is using a marked deck that you can only see with special glasses on.

Christ told us, to "Be As Wise as Serpents, and as harmless as Doves".
We must educate ourselves, to not be blinded by the deceptions in life.
The Bible states that Christians are to discern good from evil, hold onto that which is good and to abstain from evil.
The Bible also teaches us that as part of our spiritual heritage of becoming a Christian, we have been given the "mind of Christ".
This very same mind that could see beyond the Pharisees, and Sadducees, he exposed their self -righteousness for where it actually came from.
He told them "your father is the "diabolos", the evil".
"THE DEVIL"- is how the Catholics, and Protestant traditionalist changed it to read. The Word in the Greek is Diabolos- from which we get the word Diabolical... it means evil, not a person, but a system or life of evil....religion is definitely that!

Jesus could see right through their phalacteries, their bell ringing, their long cloaks of self rightousness,all their religious hooplah. He saw them for who they were and what they were up to, every step of the way.
Thus because he knew them and their thoughts, in the very best sense who they were, he often escaped them. He alluded them for years, he was able to throw questions and parables at them, yet they were too blind to see their own illusion would no longer work, because "He was the light that had come into the world.
He revealed their deceptions, and their self centeredness, their EVIL for what it was.
I believe as Christians we need to wake up more to what is really going on.
Now I don't believe in creating fear or hatred, and as I said, I have met some wonderful people of all races, creeds, colors and religions, that all need Christ, just like I did.
I love them, but what I am saying to you, we need as God's people to be more observant of the facts, and aware of our surroundings and more apt to discover evil, and expose it then most.
Not for the purpose of scaring people, are you scared?
Perfect love- Christ love, removes all fear.
We should have the very discernment Christ had while here in the flesh for now we have His very life inside of us.
To summarize, what would be the purpose of those who would allow all this deception, these Overton Window shifts and deceptions along with prevalent illusions of making us focus on the wrong issues and the wrong things, and in this case even the wrong people in what is taking place. Eventually Chaos- that's what..
While we are busy focusing on the oil spill it has distracted us from the illegal immigrant issue that was so prevalent just days before, all the news was the Arizona Law that was passed. It seems as long as new NEWS BREAKING items come along, and they run it day after day, our attention is completely drawn away or diverted from the truth or finding the truth or resolving problems in America.
They don't want the illegal immigration issue resolved right now, it doesn't serve their evil purposes, the invasion of the nation by the real enemy who seeks not just your jobs but to take over the entire nation. It won't happen of course, our troops are trained, very well trained to disperse the enemy, but who will really come into power then? Will we then have a militarized, police state, in union with the elitist corporate and political machine behind it all. A new government not unlike Stalin's reign as dictator.
Let's think for a bit. Let's look at some facts on the Gulf Oil Spill issue.
For example, why did a "blowout preventing valve" fail that is made by the Cameron Company. This valve is still not working right?
A valve that had already been shown to have some 250 possible weaknesses and possible failure points. Who is the Cameron Company that makes these?
Why did this one fail and still failing when they have been used more than in this one case? Is there or was their a plot to make this whole scenario? Is it possible, there is some conspiracy here?
Why is BP catching hell, when TransOceanic owned the rig, and Cameron's valve is supposedly the cause?
Did anyone think that this is an Overton Window to move the public opinion to lean a little more to becoming Al Gore's green, to cut back on drilling our own oil, to lessen our national strength once more,our National Security, in using our own natural resources and become less dependent upon the Islamic countries for our oil?
We would become less dependent on the Muslim Oil Cartel, why they don't want that.!
Why don't we think these things out, why are we blinded by all the false rhetoric?
Let's investigate as a people, the connections, the facts, and when found, let's confront those responsible and quit leaving everything to the Fox guarding the Henhouse to tell us how the chickens all got killed and ate!

Church Leaders, Politicians, and Journalist, are notorious for telling lies. for spin doctoring, utilizing every known deception known to mankind to keep you under their power, mesmerized by their charismatic answers to all of life's problems. You worship them and idolize them, and that is just what they want. It serves their better purposes - themselves!

When will you as a Christian listen to the Lord, when he says,
"come let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet, I shall make you as white as snow....
Why, because you have been blinded by the god of this world - EVIL!

I hope that I haven't instilled fear but faith, to trust the one person, that is always true, the truth Himself. He who said, "I am the way, the truth and the life."
Here is my hard fact theorem, I don't like it anymore than you do.
America as we know it, is undergoing the greatest evil changes it has ever experienced and ever will, and unless God Himself intervenes, we may face challenges along with our children that we never dreamed possible could take place in this country. Challenges, that will make and break us as a people that once called themselves, the United States of America. We are about to see what history has proven time after time, all kingdoms of men, may fail and do fail.
I pray not, I pray that our eyes, will be opened, and we will not seek hatred and bitterness toward any one people, even the most evil of enemies, but that we will be driven to our knees in prayer and supplications. I pray that we will for once wake up to truth, Christian truth and be a people united in heart as Christians, not driven apart, divided over trivial and ignorant issues of men, and that we will as the first thirteen colonies did be brave enough to say, we stand united against any enemy that threatens our peace, our liberty and our pursuit to live. However, I don't believe violence, or revolution by force is the answer. I believe it is by love in Christ that we can conquer our enemies. I pray that we will see the way, is not politics, wars, religion, economics, nor even eschatologies, theologies, etc, but the answer is LOVE toward one another and but mostly toward God our Creator, and the one that we all must answer to.
Are you scared yet?
Then it is time to replace that fear with knowing Christ, and His love.
Though we may end up seeing in our lifetime the fall of America, we still have and live in the everlasting Kingdom of Christ, as brothers and sisters in Christ.
You know, love can change the world and it did.. It is happening every day, as people discover the truth and love of Christ for the first time.
Let us be that light, and salt to this world, less we hide our lights, and the salt loses it's flavor and be good for nothing but to be trampled underfoot.
May God bless us as Americans, yes, but God please bless our enemies, by allowing them to see the glorious light of Jesus Christ, which when one is exposed to the light, all darkness is driven out. If we claim to be Christian, then Christ love should be the predominant character of behavior exemplified in our lives, toward ALL MEN!
Let us as Christians, bend our knees before God, our Father, in unity in Christ, and pray not just for this country but one another, regardless of creed, color, race or religion, and let us no longer be blinded by the darkness of this world and man's kingdom's but let us know and realize everyday what the Kingdom of God is: it is Joy, Peace and Righteousness in the Holy Spirit.

Chaos may come, but the peace of Christ is everlasting for those of us who know Him and that peace that passes all understanding.
Let us not be a part to the impending evil, but let us know it, abstain from it, and allow the Spirit wroking through you, to change others about you, to see truth and know it, and live in it and by it.
Let us know the enemy, yes, but let us love them as Christ taught us, and love can change the world for the better.
Teach us O Lord not to fear, teach us Lord not to allow our fears to produce hatred, and defensiveness, but teach us Lord always to be on the offense with the life of Christ in us, and the Gospel preached from us, and not just in words, but by the deeds of your Spirit within us working those works of righteousness toward ALL people that we encounter in this life.
Let us be courageous to speak truth, to be wise, yet harmless, and to exercise the minds for which you gave us individually each of us, not just a few, or just the special,but all of us, if born of His Spirit, we can seek, and know truth without the necessity of anyone, including myself, in telling us what truth is, Christ is the Truth...don't be fooled or scared.
Jesus said these words, "you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free". Therein lies how we keep our liberty, true liberty, by abiding in Him who is truth.

War and Taxes - A Call to the Christian Conscience

"What would you do if someone came to your door, with a cup  in hand asking for your contribution to help buy guns to kill a group of people they didn't like"?

 

You would either ask the questions as to who and why, as many do today, accepting the governments explanation for spending 30-40% of your income tax for the wars it is involved in, or you would say go away, I'm not giving you anything to kill anybody.

Going with the latter answer, it seems the most logical when offered no explanation for this contribution other than to buy guns and kill a group of people they didn't like.

Here is the problem of tax paying for those like myself, who do not believe in war and believe Jesus brings a Gospel of peace.

Peace and goodwill to all men was the declaration of the angels at Christ's birth.

How the church has turned from the heart of the Gospel to where most fundamentalist today stand is a subject I am writing on in a book I intend to title "Why The American Church is Failing",

 

The question of paying taxes is a question we must face as a non-resistant believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. This question I believe has been answered with suggestions of how to resist by either no payment or partial payments to the IRS and great clarity of the penalties, etc. by  the Mennonites www.mcc.org and the War Resistance League. www.warresistors.org

Now these facts alone are not enough to make many individuals war resistors, for the truth be told, fundamental churches have bought into the teachings of Dispensationalism and  the result is war mongering, and more and more they have twisted scriptures, I believe to their own destruction. When I speak of destruction, they have left their first love, Jesus, for the love of the world, self and nationalistic pride.

 

I am someone who understands the IRS and their power. I have since 1983 been in a struggle against their tactics of intimidation and not because I had resisted paying taxes, in most cases, it was due to employers failing to report all I have paid, or to the IRS claims somehow enough was not paid. In some cases upon filing I found out that I still owed more taxes when during the time I was working and my employer was taking out taxes, I assumed they were taking out the right amount, then would find at the end of the year, I owed and I didn't have what was owed to pay. 

I have always filed and never intentionally lied on my income tax return and simply tried to pay my tax as due. Misunderstanding the scripture in context when it says, pay taxes to whom taxes are due. We forget that this continues with saying, owe no debt to anyone but the debt of love.

I have since 1985 paid near every month additional payments to the IRS just to pay them what they claim I owe. In the last 6 years that has meant paying them, $250.00 a month until I finally got them to reduce it to $50.00 per month. I was at that time going through a period of unemployment, health problems and more, which left me broke. I am still only partially employed, doing direct marketing for 20 hours per week that pays only commissions when an appointment is set for the service representative to do a demo of our product. The demo must be carried through, sale or no sale, which means most often people have second thoughts and cancel their appointments I set. To this point I have earned only $584.00  - subtract taxes, in the past 5 weeks since going back to work part-time. I am still broke. I obtain little help from outside sources, but God is my sustainer and my provider and I remain thankful to him, for all that he has done for me and is doing for me. I have been unable to find full-time work, for 6 months now, and have sent out, over 100 resumes, to find that the corporate world is just not in the market for 53 year old men regardless of their  education, experience and skills. I continue to look but still no replies, or answers to applications or resumes.

The IRS during all these years, would dig up new claims of owing them taxes even going back to the tax year 1993 in the year, 2005. This is over 12 years ago, assuredly there has to be some sort of law against going back that far.  They know I couldn't prove them wrong if I wanted to, as those tax records are long gone. Those records are lost to the many moves I have made, the cleaning out of my home after my wife's untimely death in a freak car accident in 2001 and just in general of not holding onto these records  because I didn't think it was important to keep them beyond 7 years. 

I was mislead to think they could only go back 7 years. I guess I was wrong, I have had no one tell me different.

 

My wife and I had filed an Offer to Compromise in July 2001, they didn't respond after the longest time period, (per their statement they had 30 days to decide), I heard nothing for 9 months, we did hear from our Taxpayer's Advocate, two months after the filing that the IRS claimed they didn't get our electric utility bills, which we know they did and the Taxpayer's Advocate, said she recalled them being in the package she helped mail.

We went through the whole process again of accumulating these records to send them. Yet, still time went by. My wife of 27 years was killed in an accident on November 21, 2001, then not until April 2002, did I hear from them after I filed my taxes for 2002, and they had rejected our plea, When I called them they told me, now that my wife was dead, I would have to file "two" Offers of Compromise one under my dead wife's name and then one under my name. Needless to say, I was exasperated. I gave an attorney $4,000 of my wife's life insurance money I had inherited to file these, being assured by him he could help reduce my tax and get them to make an offer in settlement.

Instead the lawyer took me for a ride, did nothing and kept the money, then created a fake bill for his time- which might have been a total of 2 hours that we ever talked. The State only offered a grievance form to be filled out as the only means of action to be taken against him. This "shyster" knew what he was doing, he made it impossible for me to come back and get my money back, as he wrote the contract, to say in small lettering, "he guaranteed no results and no money back guarantee".

Lawyers like him commit a crime against people everyday and walk away, without penalty or repayment to their client. This is life in America, land of the rich and the oppressed.

Land where the lawyers make laws that oppress the poor and enrich the rich.

 

I lost my chance to file an Offer to Compromise and I lost $4,000 which could have been paid on the taxes which would have been better than the "thieving" lawyer stealing my money. So, there  I was back to square one paying money to the IRS for years back that they claim I owe and I truthfully do not know that I do owe any taxes for most of the years claimed.

I have had during all this time, two personal audit meetings with them. One in 1986 and one sometime around 1994. Neither one of these would be what I call at that time a chance to prove them wrong with records but rather a time for them to tell me what I was going to pay and when.

My battle has gone from a Congressional tax case initiated by a Senator of Texas, Phil Gramm, who assisted me in getting the Tax Payers Advocate and an opportunity to settle for less with an Offer to Compromise, to the IRS denying of my Offers to Compromise, to them requiring two new Offers of Compromise, to no offer filed because a lawyer stole my money, to paying them monthly from 2002 - 2005  - $250.00 per month to paying $50.00 per month until I finally couldn't pay them anything due to my bad health and unemployment.

I now suppose I will get the typical letters of demand - "pay or else" threats again. To be quite honest, I am not only tired of the harassment, I am tired of contributing any money period to a nation that has gone mad and spends over 31% of our income taxes for WAR!

I am tired of the threats and the harassment, I have nothing for them to take, and welcome them to take the only thing I own, a 1996 Pickup truck which has over 168,000 miles on it and is my only means of transportation. Take away my means of transportation they take away my ever having a chance to pay their taxes. Garnish my small earnings I have right now, I quit work and they get nothing.

I would say I should be declared "uncollectible". Since the rejection in 2002, I have paid what they claimed was $28,000 down to about 9,000 dollars. The remaining $9,000 is as debatable as that which they have already collected from me. You have to remember this is the Internal Revenue Service. Though I have dealt with some individuals by telephone who have been very understanding, the collections process is not. The poor men, pays by intimidation which they the IRS know works well. The rich men is very seldom harassed because he can afford large tax attorney firms that can hold collections up in court for years. They almost always can obtain an Offer to Compromise and pay little of the actual tax due. I once read a report by a former IRS collector who said this was their practice and the managers of the IRS collection department made this very clear to their collectors, to collect from those that they could intimidate, "the poor".

 

I am a peace lover, I am strong believer in non-resistance as Christ taught and the Apostles lived out with the practices of the earliest believers who died for their faith in the Roman Coliseums and even on a cross hung upside down as Peter did. The Great Persecution or The Great Tribulation.

Why didn't any of them resist those who persecuted them? Why didn't the early Christians including Paul take up a sword and form a group of people to fight their oppressors. Not one of them ever lifted their hand to strike out at their persecutors, all except Peter on the night at Gethsemane and then Christ told him to put down his sword and the Jesus healed the servants ear.

 

We must ask ourselves, if we are truly Christians, one specific question. Doesn't contribution monetarily toward a government that is bent on the deaths of many people, constitute, that we should refuse to pay either that portion of tax that goes to war or even all our taxes? This is a question I have asked myself a lot in the last 3 years especially since through time with the Lord in prayer and much biblical study, I concluded that I believe as the Mennonites do in Non-Resistance and only in the Kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit has confirmed this in my heart.

I know there are many arguments otherwise but there is no argument that stands against what Jesus did, and what the  book of 1st John tells us, that if "we abide in Him, we will walk even as He (Jesus) walked".

 

Yes, Jesus showed anger and there is no where we are told that anger is wrong, as long as it doesn't lead to sin.

I am angry now, but my anger will not lead to murder or hatred of my brother.

I am angry against a organized governmental system that in no way gives us a choice to contribute or not to contribute to evils that we as Christian believers should have choice in.

I choose to love my enemy as Christ taught and to do good to them. Good is not the death and destruction this nation has become largely responsible for worldwide anymore. One cannot even apply Justified War to Iraq. The attack of 911, had nothing to do with Iraq and Afghanistan, yet now, thousands have died because in our hearts along with a lying President, we became evil and cried, Vengeance!

When the Lord, says, "Vengeance is mine", and He wasn't even talking about vengeance for the sake of countries and governments but for the persecution of those of His church. The attack on the WTC was an attack against our financial systems and economics, it wasn't an attack directed at Christianity and even if it were, God, says, "Vengeance is Mine"! We are now suffering the chastening of the Lord individually for not listening to the Spirit of God, with 3,400 men and women being sent home in body bags. Truly, if this was a battle God told us to fight the victory as an the Old Testament days would have been hands down with little or no loss of American lives. I state this because those who ascribe to justified war love to use OT scripture as their justification, as if we are a Theocracy as Israel was. This is not the Lords' Battle.

 

Good is not killing others for the sake of my ideas of government or other worldly concepts. Good is preaching the ministry of reconciliation to Muslim and Jew alike. Teaching the truth of salvation, when taught in truth always results in peace between all people. "Love conquers all".

I am now in the place trying to determine how best to continue paying for taxes I am not sure I owe anyway and my conscience that hates war and loves peace. It is a difficult problem for anyone facing this. In truth the biggest reason people don't want to answer their conscience in regards to this, is because refusal or even partial payment, may result in the loss of any and all material goods they have, including if they own a car or their home. The other side is they may fear going to jail. Something even I fear, as I see jail as the worst thing we can do to anyone. To take a person and lock them up for their conscience on serving or not serving war, is absolutely the greatest injustice one man can do to another. Then again, no one ever said, that man's justice is good, even David asked God to give Him His justice rather than that of men's, knowing full well that God's is tempered with love and compassion and correctiveness in mind, and the concept of sinful men's idea of justice is only in punishing individuals for their sins against society or law, while yet they are sinners themselves. God offers forgiveness, men do not. God is holy and any justice he gives us is from Him that is perfect, whereby imperfect men, subject other imperfect men to  punishment for the very same sins they are guilty of. They live a lie, saying it isn't true but Jesus proved just the opposite. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Even the murderer is no more greater a sinner then he who hates his brother. Jesus made this clear, and hatred of any group, of people, culture, race, or peoples of a religion that we don't agree with is in the eyes of God, murder!

The American fundamentalist continue to feed this fire of hatred with their rhetoric against Muslim, Palestinians, homosexuals and more. We may not agree with various practices, or religions, or other, but we are not called to be judges as Christians but to minister reconciliation to these people in the form of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Beyond that we have no higher duty then to love them, pray for them and preach the Good News to them.

We cannot legislate righteousness, man is sinful, only a new creation in Christ can establish righteousness in a man, woman or child's life. Law's designed to regulate man's behavior, have proven failed throughout history. I am not calling for no law, for society itself would crumble without law because it is made up of the lawless as well as the Christian, but to remember that the law is for the lawless and a school master to Christ, and that as such it is our purpose only as Christians to seek the redemption of all violators by showing them the way to Christ.

It is not our job to punish  this belongs only to the, One Lawgiver and Judge, God.

I oppose the death penalty for these reasons and I truly believe we can find better ways to correct criminals then propagating criminality through penitentiaries and putting them in a society that only promotes criminality, not only among the imprisoned but with those that imprison them. Recent events in Texas youth prisons have proven my point and the history of criminal justice has proven my point. Very few people come out corrected and very few people stay corrected from imprisonment. The few that have it is only due to the presence of Christian outreach and their conversion to Christ. Many of these in the prisons suffer, psychological and spiritual problems that could be resolved, many had no chance in life in their upbringing, and they could be made whole with a different societal approach to their correction. How can imperfect men, ever correct imperfect men, without Christ as center of that correction coming from a Spirit led and abiding Christian.  This is not the case in the real world. Thus it is a spiral that continues until Jesus comes, or we as believers take more action to being a part to bringing the Kingdom of God to pass in people's lives. I thank God for people like my uncle who was a Prison Chaplain, I have seen God use his ministry to bring life to many individuals. He is not perfect but he has Christ and scripture and it is the Word that changes an individual whether them, you or me.

It is our calling to correct the body of Christ always with the thought in mind that we too may fall into sin, and to offer compassion and forgiveness. not judgment, condemnation in which punishment doesn't involve these things -correction ( being steered in a new direction) and healing ( both psychological and spiritual). Punishment only appeases men's flesh and sinful pride, especially for those doing the punishment.

We are to extend this love of God to ALL men, regardless of their religious belief or sin. We are to remember, that God so loved the "world" that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. It must always begin the same way God's love does, He loves all men, and offers them redemption.

He took care of the redemption it is our call and duty to offer this to others by the way we live our lives and the words we share with others. This love for them that is without prejudice or bias.

We are to love them not kill them, or punish them, we are but to love them. This is the hardest way, this is the narrow gate, because everything in our flesh says the opposite.

 

I have digressed from somewhat where I began this editorial, but all the same, it is for us to see, that war doesn't meet the call of our heavenly Father, and that we really need to ask ourselves; are we contributing to this evil by paying our taxes. In honesty, the answer has to be a loud, Yes.

Now what you do about it is up to you, and how much you may be willing to sacrifice of the "me" for the "all".

The greatest prophets and saints have always sacrificed as they stood in direct opposition to the world, their people, their culture and their society, and it's ways.

We are in the world, but scripture makes it very clear, we are not to love the things of this world and hatred is one of the big things of this world and war is it's means of exercising that hatred.

Dispensationalism, and the "Left Behind" series of fictional, non scriptural theology and exegesis has brought many to believe the big lie. This lie feeds the flesh. It is fed with justified hatred and it is very hard to escape it once one let's it become a part of themselves.  Sow to the flesh, you reap the flesh.

I am really beginning to see that "war tax resistance" may be the only hope we have left of changing this country from the war mongering, blood thirsty nation we have become.

God have mercy on us for the death and destruction we have so willingly supported. We need forgiveness not only for our willingness to listen to preachers with itching ears, but our continual contribution to the war effort in our silence, and our willingness to pay for it.

I remind readers it was over a simple tax on tea, that fired up the American Revolution, it is perhaps time for a new revolution in this country that has totally failed at the ballot box to change the face of America. Taxes are the only support these politicians have - my money and your money.

Without money, they cannot continue to disregard the voice of the people.

The "moral majority tries to make us believe that it is an attack on Christianity, whether or not the Ten Commandments are in a court officials building or not. This has little to do with being a Christian especially when the very same people that fought against the removal of the Ten Commandments from a judge's court in Alabama will not resist and take action against war, especially when one of those commandments say, Thou Shalt Not Kill. I don't read FIFTY justifications written alongside of this commandment for doing other than what it says.

It was only with the passing of time, that Christians came to the idea  of " justified war", and this not from scripture but from men, like Augustine.

I can truly say, Christian, "You Nullify the Commandments of God for Sake of the Traditions of Men!"

It is time for us to say, no more war, and no more support for your wars. My battle is not against flesh and blood. I am in a spiritual battle, in that battle we are called to render unto God what is God's.

The opposite of  the coin. Our very lives and all that we are and have belongs to God, not to the Federal government or the State, It all belongs to Him. what will you do with it, render all that you are to Caesar or to God. There is in the scripture, unlike "justified war", taught by men, there is clearly taught in scripture and the New Testament "justified civil disobedience".  "Is it better to obey God or men"?, the Apostle asked.

We know what they did, they obeyed God, and continued to proclaim His name though told it was against the law and to not do it.

This is one of the reasons, the early Christians turned the world upside down! They feared no man and only feared God. They lost all that they had to follow Jesus, who said," foxes have dens, and birds have nest, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head"

Lest we forget, we are no less called to this calling, that Jesus spoke, "Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men".

Peace is the only answer to war, and we as Christians, are the answer for peace in this world, if we hold fast to the traditions taught by the Word and the Apostles instead of the "traditions of men"

Neither Muslim or those that practice unlawful  or immoral things, will ever be able to resist love and peace.

When we harken to His word, we truly will become "Fishers of Men" and like the Disciples, our nets will be full and our boats will be weighed down with the catch. But hear me, WE HAVE TO FIRST CAST OUR NETS!

Cast your net, stand against war and hatred, and turn to love both in word and deed.

PTSD and The Returning Soldier

I want to write here about something I know a little something about, PTSD, otherwise known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This is not psychobabble, it is a very real condition that affects 5.2 million Americans! What is it?: Here is some information by the American Medical Association.

What is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)?
PTSD is a real illness. People may get PTSD after living through a disturbing or frightening experience. It can be treated with medicine and therapy.You can get PTSD after you have been:
Raped or sexually abused
Hit or harmed by someone in your family
A victim of a violent crime
In an airplane or car crash
In a hurricane, tornado, or fire
In a war,
In an event where you thought you might be killed, or
After you have seen any of these events.

If you have PTSD, you often have nightmares or scary thoughts about the experience you went through. You try to stay away from anything that reminds you of your experience.
You may feel angry and unable to trust or care about other people. You may always be on the lookout for danger. You can feel very upset when something happens suddenly or without warning.

This Disorder will affect almost every American soldier, your son, your daughter on return from Iraq. Regardless, of what you believe or think about this war, it doesn't matter, but it does matter to your children. I know, I suffer from PTSD. Mine is very complicated, it is the result of years as a Firefighter and a Medic and then the horrible car crash I was in.and other incidents in my life. The most important one to trigger it was a car crash where I was driving, that ended with the death of my dear wife of 27 years.

The truth is, God is always right, especially when it comes to war. Jesus, taught us to love our enemies. Whenever a soldier man or woman kills or maims or injures another human being, regardless of what he is taught in the military, regardless of what he believes his justification is, deeper in his psyche, something will happen. This shock to the human mind will be there as an enduring memory. A very bad memory.
These are just a few of the symptoms you can expect your loved one to have when they do return from Iraq.
This is a small list compiled of the symptoms and treatments for Veterans. I drew this from the web site Viet Nam Vets against the War in Iraq. These are men who returned to find their lives in shambles and many ended up on the streets of America, homeless and messed up, drug users and alcoholics and wondering with no direction to go, until they found help.

And the good soldier John or the good troop Jane, who under fire never once thought of your civil rights, your silly flag, your doofus politics. Good Johnny or Jane, I say, feel and act a tad differently when the locked down feelings, bottled up memories, instinctive behaviors of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder fervently, unexpectedly kick in.
The symptoms of PTSD, in plain bloody English, are as follows:

• Flashbacks: seeing and feeling a combat event as if it were happening right now.
• Hyper Vigilance: being always on guard, always looking for where the next shot, next grenade, next rocket, ambush or IED will come next.
• Survivor Guilt: feeling bad, feeling real bad for having survived, where others in the platoon or squad didn't.
• Moral Guilt: wrestling with actions one did or did not take on.
• Startle Reflex: dropping, flinching, turning fast at a sudden noise or unexpected touch.
• Suicidal Ideation: thinking of killing oneself.
• Homicidal ideation: thinking of killing people. Friends or complete strangers.
• Homicidal Rage: anger way out of proportion to an everyday event. It comes quick, down and dirty.
• Sadness, depression, anxiety, crying spells: Staring into space, saying nothing.
• Nightmares: violent dreams related to combat. Sometimes it's the same dream. Some vets make strange noises. Thrash in bed. Wake up scared, or sweaty.
• Ritual Behavior: at night checking the lights, locking the doors, maybe keeping a weapon at hand.
• Alienation: a vet feels as if no one understands him, doesn't fit in, feels as if he or she should have never returned
• Panic Attack: for a short time the combat vet becomes suddenly and intensely afraid. He or she sweats, breathes hard. has a pounding heart, might get dizzy, choke
• Social isolation: staying alone for long periods of time. Or in public saying very little. To the point of being noticeably very quiet
• Drug and alcohol abuse: whatever works to dull the pain glowing inside one's head
•Fear of emotional intimacy: combats often won't let anyone get close to them. If someone gets too close. the vet backs off or pushes them away
• Employment: a lot of vets can't keep a job. Every couple of months quit or get fired
• Psychic Numbing: not have the ability to feel emotions. Vets talk about feeling hollow, blank, empty.
• Denial: Problems'! What problem? I don't have a problem.
•High Risk Behavior: doing daredevil stuff to re-live the rush of combat.

These symptoms are normal responses to extraordinary events outside the range of normal human experience. Most civilians are clueless about combat and its aftermath.

Some types of treatment:

• The talking Cure: a vet talks to a therapist who is skilled in treating war stress and is not a paid bullshitter.
• Group therapy: seven to ten vets meet once a week for an hour or two. A good group leader is essential. That person knows when to talk, when to listen, how to keep the vets focused. Otherwise, group therapy can get lame fast
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): a form of hypnosis in which the vet is fully awake.
• Exercise. Meditation. Meds. A friend who will just listen. An artistic endeavor.

*Faith in God.

One other thing. This is real important: a lot of Vets fear talking about war. They fear losing control. Breaking down. Crying. My advice to those who have seen combat; face yourself. Chances are good you will learn to live less in the past, more in the present, but you will never be the same. WW II. Korea, Panama. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Central America, wherever you were. Whatever you did in war will always be with you. Always.

PTSD will not only affect your son or daughter, husband or wife but it will at times devastate them. You must be prepared to handle this, you need to research it now, so you can help them through.

I have been on medication for almost 5 years now that has helped some, I sleep better, I eat better and the flashbacks to the things that have affected me aren't as bad, but at anytime, something can trigger it. PTSD, has cost me jobs, difficulties in my marriage and in my family life, it has affected my behavior. My PTSD came as a result of seeing too much death, injury and stupidity of humans, murder, fights, and more. Much of this came in the late 80's and early 90's due to my 3.5 years of being a FireFighter/Medic and in my 20 years as a Private Investigator, I saw it all.
I have seen people, opened up like animals while doing part of my duty as a Medic in assisting the Pathologist with autopsies at the local hospital. This was part of our duties, when we weren't on a call. I have seen bodies, fried by fire, maimed and killed by others, children dead and more. The thing that topped it all off was the attempted rescue of my wife's own life while she lay in my arms beside me in our car and I gave her mouth to mouth, praying and hoping for her to live. She didn't. The memory of that incident has never faded. The whole accident often will attack my dreams and my daytime thoughts. The memory of others who have suffered similar losses in car accidents, mountain climbing and flying and more will always be there. Death, is something we must all live with, as someday we will die as well.
The hardest part for your returning Vets, will be that they were often responsible directly for the death of another human being. This is reality.
I wasn't responsible for the incidents I was involved in, but all the same, there is something in the human soul that loves life and clings to life and doesn't want to take life. That I believe is the creation we were made to be. We were made in the likeness of our Creator who called each of us to not kill others. Jesus clairifed this. It isn't left to argument. Love thine enemy, take no vengeance. These words are hard for Americans. They for too long have had war glorified in television and movies. They have not lived it.
Regardless of the Religionist and the Old Testament incidents. One, must realize, that in the end, death will be swallowed up and it will never exist again. This is God's purpose- life.
The thought of those dying around you, by you or near you, is not an experience every American has experienced. Thank God, this is so. September 9, 2001 was really the first experience for American "civilians"to have dealing with senseless violence and death. This is commonplace stuff in war torn countries, they live it out, they live through 911's everyday.
We can't even imagine what it is like, Iraqi's do, Palestianians do, Israeli's do and many other people in this world torn by war and greed. They watch their family members die in their arms.
Women, children and men. It doesn't matter, until you have been there and experienced the reality which goes far beyond the edited media you get on television news in America or in the war movies you watch.
It is as the voice of Marlon Brando in his part in as the renegade General in the movie "Apocalypse" said over and over at the end of the scene, "the horror of it all, the horror, the horror. "
You can't even begin to know what really goes on in the mind of a returning veteran who has actually been engaged in war, killing and seeing the death of fellow soldiers. He will pretend, often using profanity, as if it was no big deal. It's all a lie, he or she is afraid to cry. Let them cry, let them spill out their guts. This can be the beginning of healing.

God, deliver us from any more foolish wars for the sake of men's greed and need to influence power over others.
God keep you safe from ever having to experience what millions of police officers, firefighters, medics, soldiers and other health workers across the world deal with everyday in their duties. Find someone to talk to.
I can tell you, there is One who not only forgives, but comforts and that is your heavenly Father. He can teach you how to start letting go.
My PTSD grows less and less, but all the same, I still need medication to help me. Don't fear admitting, it hurts, it is terrible or whatever it takes to begin the healing process.
I'm still healing and probably will for a very long, long time. The good thing, is I know that my future is held by my Father in heaven and there is coming a day, when death will be swallowed up in victory. The fear is subsiding, the hope is returning.
I only can hope and pray for those that chose to put themselves in such a position as our soldiers to do the bidding of politicians, who will return with PTSD. God help them and their familes to understand. If you haven't lived it, you can't imagine, "the horror."
