The Passing of Friends

I am saddened by the news this night of the loss of two people in my life. My best friend since 8th grade, loss his little brother Davie over a week ago, and then his father Web, passed away a few days ago. Web was a great man of intelligence and wisdom. He was a man of integrity, and was one of the greatest thinkers and speakers I had the privilege of knowing in my lifetime. Web found Christ a reality for himself, and he very took to heart the great commission- to preach the Gospel to all the world. Web fulfilled his mission, and now as Paul said, he knew it was time, he had fought the fight of faith and held out until the end.
Sadly from the news I got it contained little information as to how or why. Arthur his son - aka Soxie to me and those of us that ran together in those years past, sent me a brief but sad email informing me of the news just yesterday. No details just that Davie his brother and Web his father had passed away. I wrote to their online obituary guest books today.
Web gave me my first real job, at age 14 years of age, I worked for him at his furniture store, in Alamogordo, New Mexico after school and in the summers. I still have my original Social Security card, that I obtained then so I could work for him.
Web was a quiet and thoughtful man, who didnt speak until his thoughts were gathered, and precisely organized to persuade or motivate those he spoke to.
His speech was always full of grace to those that worked for him and knew him especially as a Christian man.
He taught me much, about politics, religion, the Bible, the Charismatic movement, which he played a large part in as a leader with the Full Gospel Businessman organization. You could not argue with Web, he was probably the greatest debater I ever knew, he always had the answer, and with his many years of sales under his wing he could be most persuasive and he would always win the debate, and in the end you had a friend for a lifetime. He had few if any enemies I ever knew of, he was known by all and loved by all. Active in his church, active in his community.
When he sold the furniture store in his later years, it was as if a landmark of my playground had dissapeared. I worked there and played there just as hard. Soxie his son and I found many occassion to goof off, and hopefully not get caught in those days. These were years before, Web, had really turned his life over to Christ, I can still hear him say, when we goofed up, "hell fire damnation" boys, what were you thinking, or doing. Years later, when Christ had tempered him, and taken away any sort of speech as that ( which was the worst thing I ever heard him say in my years knowing him) all of his speech became full of grace, no harsh words, never a word of discouragement, just encouragement, exhortation, and love.
He loved with great capacity his brothers and sisters in Christ, and those who needed Christ. He loved his family. I can only say, he was a mentor, friend, and will be greatly missed.
I last saw Web a few years back, I believe he must have been about 77 years old at that time. When Web left, the furniture business, he became a real estate broker. He worked with one of the large real estate firms in Alamogordo. I was quite impressed, here he was the oldest guy working there, and he was the top seller for the last several years. Number One! All over the wall hung his accomplishments in sales! Whatever Web set his heart and mind to do he excelled at it, always.
He taught me about sales, he taught me conservative politics, he taught me about God's gift of grace to each man. He knew his Bible as well, or better than most of the preachers out there. He understood the founding fathers thinking on America and Freedom.
He could quote verse by verse in any persuasive teaching or preaching the Bible from memory.
I loved Web, I am glad that I got to have lunch with him when I visited last, and I enjoyed getting to see Davie as well, he was at home.
I have missed my friend Soxie a lot, he lives so far away and we just don't get to be the friends we once were because of time and distance between the two places we live, but He along with his family will always be my second family. I share your grief but I also have learned to know God's peace in these things, because I know God's love, and I know, that someday, when I leave this earth, I will be greeted by Web's smile and Davies laughter, once more. God speed my friends. I will always love you, and your memories and the times we shared will always be right where they need to be, in my heart.. I dedicate this to you both.

Reminiscing

Today, has been pretty depressing. I got up to go to work, but I can't shake this sickness I have had for a week now, the boss didn't want me to come in, today or tommorrow, doesnt want me spreading the germs. So, I went home, got out the PC and started looking up old friends on Facebook, My Life and more. These things are wonderful addition to our lives, but they also can be a curse. I have some people I have connected with from way back, like high school, and some other friends I have stayed in contact with over the last several years beause of these things.
Once you start connecting with the one's from a long time ago, the memories you had of their faces, are soon washed away, the youthfulness, of those days, is suddenly aged, old and even sad. I think the worst part of it is, that most of us keep our memories of people in the past, as it somehow remains our connection to when we were young. It helps when you get older. It is the memories that somehow help us in our minds to see ourselves as still young, and strong. Then the shccker comes, you find your old buddy from school, your old girlfriend from school. The memory of them was youthfulness, beauty, handsomeness, strength, ready to have fun, and suddenly you see them, old, decrepit, not so pretty anymore, definitely not so handsome anymore, no youthfulness about them left, and they look like they feel like you do.
They are gray haired, overweight, and wrinkled, sadly just like you!
No,it's great to say hello after all these years, and even kind of fun to say remember when, but somehow, it kills the wonderful memories of yesteryear. On top of the sadness that brings, then there are those friends of mine, that are younger than me, people I knew when I was in my twenties, thirties, even early forties.
I am getting ready to turn FIFTY SEVEN! They still are having some fun, doing things, going places, enjoying life.
Here I am sitting and wondering will I get over this cold, and see tommorrow, or will it turn into something worse, maybe even crippling, or long term. When I was 20 years old right on up to being 40, I didnt have all things that are wrong with me now. I was still strong, handsome, ready to conquer the world.
Now, I feel as if I have been conquered.
I am now an insulin dependent diabetic, had two atrial fibrillation attacks, have high blood pressure, prostate problems, in remission for Crohn's disease, torn knees, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, suffer PTSD from the car wreck that killed my first wife. I have arthritis, and the list goes on so long right with all the pills I take, I can't even keep up with it all.
I am bummed and totally depressed now.
So, I thought I would go look at some old photo albums of mine. I did. Let me tell you that really helped my condition of melancholy.
Now, my memories are there, running ninety miles a minute, leading up to the loss of my beautuful wife of 27 years. I saw all their faces in the photos when they were young, even my relatives, the one's that I use to be close to. My nieces, don't even call me or write anymore, some of my friends that I had close relationships with, I can't find, and the few I did don't call or write anymore either. Some of them have passed away, some of them, I know they have to be dead, I can't find them anywhere, and I am an old Private Investigator that could find anyone, that nobody else could.
My memories came to a halt. I put the old photo albums away, to gather dust for a few more years, I shut off the computer, logging off from my Social pages, and dropped my chin. I looked at myself in the mirror, and said, "My God", where did all the years go?
What happened to that old me, the one that was adventurous, the one in those pictures, that went caving, mountain climbing, camping, and hiking. The one carrying his gun, looking like he could take out all the bad guys. The one of the guy loading patients onto helicoptors, fighting fires, chasing stories, and photographs to meet the deadlines at the newspaper. The guy that was an artist who did photography, painting and more, had a gallery in the mountains, traveled in a 14 foot raft fighting the whitewater with a paddle on the Colorado river.
It takes all my energy to get out of bed now.
I once was a firefighter, medic, private investigator, news reporter, photographer, living an exciting life. I did some cool and unique things in my life and have lived a unique life. As my friend, said on his Facebook page we really "all have had a unique life". Yes, it is unique to us.
We all have done things, seen things, gone places, loved others, known others, that is all uniquely ours, unique to our own individual lives. Nobody else lived our life! The sad thing it's over now, it really is, we are too old, to even think about it, it might cause us to have a stroke to think on it too long! Don't want to blow a blood vessel dwelling on it too long.
I don't think I will ever have those same feelings, same experiences, same loves, same adventures ever again. No matter what, once we get old, it comes to an end.
Oh yes, we will have new ones, but I must say, climbing up on a step ladder to get something down out of the cabinent for your wife, may be as dangerous for us now as climbing that mountain I once did, but do I want a picture taken of that adventure and posted on my Facebook or kept for future memories? Oh, yea, the cute waitress that might wink at us, like she winks at her Grandpa for gosh sakes!
Perhaps we should take pictures more now, so that in the years yet to come, when we are no longer lucky enough to walk or to even see the waitress, much less hear her speak to us - I wear hearing aids now as well.
It my be good to look back on those pictures then and have some great memories!
I guess, that is why I still ride my motorcycle, it still makes me think I am still young, vibrant, even strong. Of course, I know that if I crash at this age, I may never heal like when I was young, but heck, that's the adventure of it all. That's what keeps old bikers on the road, we want to live out that last minute of every day, thinking we still are young, and can live and love life again. This is why old people don't want to quit driving cars when they turn 80 - hey, it's the one adventure they can still have, dodging enraged young drivers, and making them drive slow behind, us, and just as they are ready to pass - speed up..ha you want to race?
I think that is why, whenever the pressures get to great these days, which seems they are more these days or us just that I fit into that movie " Grumpy Old Men".
I still get on my motorcycle, crank her over, and zoom down the highway, I feel free, young and adventerous again, Perhaps, I can still climb that mountain, but for the meantime my aching back from the motorcycle ride tells me, keep it to the step ladder, and enjoy the ride, it may not be long before that arthritis gets your legs and back so bad you won't be able to sling your legs over the seat, and ride the wind anymore.
Now, that's depressing.
To think my greatest ride in the future may be in a wheelchair down a handicap ramp, is not a fun thought. So, I think I am going to stay off Facebook for awhile, quit looking at the photos of what my old friends look like now, or what they are doing now, and close the books, get on my Bike and ride off into the sunset.
Isn't that what we do in the end anyway, is just take that last ride in a limousine, in a black box only to have someone drop our bodies into a hole in the ground. Now, that's depressing!
So, for now, I want to stick to my memories of yesteryear, and the things I did, the places, I went, the women I loved, the accomplishments of the past. The only accomplishment I have now, is I did it, I loved them, I acccomplished it, I lived life to it's fullest, and I like the memories just like they are.
Facebook, MySpace, My Life, Classmates, all that, they really are a curse. I prefer to keep my memories, thank you.

Sincerely,

Joseph Black

I Was Thinking About It

I was thinking about, why and how our present economic, political and otherwise conditions of living got to where they are at today in America. I have written for years on various things that were going on, that most people sloughed off. Now, a majority of Americans are just starting to wake up out of their slumber. For most they see that political change can take place by the vote. I think that has already been disproved. I don't really think there is much hope for us anymore as the nation we once knew. I really believe that we are looking at the last days of this once great country. The vote is controlled, the economy is controlled, and even our politicans are controlled. Perhaps by brain washing, propaganda or other. However, it has been accomplished, facts are that your so called Representatives have closed their ears, and minds to us, the people. Money is a very powerful drug. It has influenced and changed even the best of those with good intentions in politics. Once a person, that is not born of the Spirit of God, is ingratiated with it, they learn a very simple fact. Money buys power and control over others, and provides you individually more freedom then the those you power over. We have for far too long, forgotten what the Bible clearly teaches - The love of money is the ROOT of all evil.
I use to have an old saying myself, as an investigator who did financial and assets investigations - follow the money and you will find out just what and who is the person behind everything or who they are. It is true in politics as well, if you follow the money that pays for the votes, the introduction and passing of legislation, you will find out a great deal that will probably blow all your paradigm of thinking away. I know and you know, that in truth there is not one real iota a difference between a Democrat or a Republican. Oh! they try to say there is, but truth is - money is what makes the world go around. Ask yourself, this, if you earn as small a wage as I earn, and Congress earns something like $159,000 a year, and the U.S. Government steals from us in tax dollars NINE HUNDRED BILLION dollars a year, then who do you think their interest is toward? Do you honestly believe that either party is interested in smaller government, welfare of the poor, or any other such foolish notions we may think one them subscribes too. You have lost touch wth reality. The kingdoms of this world, and the selfish sin nature of men, has continually presented the same temptation as we all face and Jesus faced in his tempting in the wilderness, "bow down before me, and I will give you the kingdoms of this world". You see, it is only the Kingdom of God, whereby we have one true leader, Jesus Christ who has defeated this enemy - the love of money. He defeated both sin and death. Now, who will we worship, a government, a state, a political ideology, or will we worship Christ above all things? Ask yourself the question, has not your worship of this country, brought you disappointment, of course it has, and it will to do so continually. Why, because Jesus made it clear, that His kingdom is everlasting, and history has proven, that none of men's inventions of government, state or politics has ever lasted over 500 years. They all disappear into the dust, what we are doing is seeing one of man's greatest ideas for good become evil. God wants us to live on a better tree for our food, then the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. He wants us to know and eat from the one true tree, the Tree of Eternal Life, which is Christ our King. Jesus made it very clear, that unless we drink His blood and eat His flesh, we won't have life. Is that too hard for you?
I have said for far too long, that we have become a nation not of Freedom but we have become the nation of FREE DUMB! How long shall we hold a deaf ear, to hear Christ say, "My Kingdom is not of this world". It isn't, the Kingdom of God is within you, if you have been birthed by the Creator Father, and have placed your trust, not in the kingdoms of this world, but in Christ, who is the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. Let us cease to waiver in our trust in the one true Kingdom for which if you are His child, you already live in, that is the Kingdom of God. Let us not waiver in our simple reliance and trust upon, the one person, who never sinned, and never failed those he represented - mankind- Jesus Christ our Lord.

Why China Won't Say, "Uncle"

This is a recent quoted article from the news online addition of "Slate".

China Won't Be Pressured To Reform Currency

The 47-nation nuclear summit taking place in Washington, D.C., provided President Obama with an opportunity to meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao for the first time since "Sino-U.S. tensions over the yuan threatened to escalate into a serious trade dispute," Reuters reported. They didn't talk much about China's currency: Obama was focused on the subject of nuclear weapons and winning China's support for tougher sanctions against Iran. But Hu made it clear that "China would not be pushed by external pressure and would instead base any decision on the yuan on its own economic needs," Reuters reported. "But he also made clear that Beijing was committed to change." Obama wants China to "move toward a more market-oriented exchange rate," declaring it necessary for sustained global recovery; the yuan's exchange rate against the dollar has been frozen for nearly two years. "China will firmly stick to a path of reforming the yuan's exchange rate formation mechanism," Hu told Obama. "In making reforms, we will give careful consideration to global economic developments and changes, as well as to China's economic condition."

Now my commentary....

Apparently, the President never read "Unlimited Warfare" which I wrote about previously on this Blog. See my blog article entitled, "The Chinese Philosophy of Warfare" dated Friday, July 6, 2007.

Americans, were suckered right into being powered over by China.
First, the Chinese understood greed and materialism. Communism is based on greed and materialism for the elite, and poverty for those who are subjected to it.
Since clear back in the Nixon era we called them the "Most Favored Trade Nation". Why because they were more than glad to ship us their goods produced by an enslaved labor force. When individuals are paid 25 cents an hour, this makes for very great profit for a manufacturer of goods that Americans want.
Then along came the new Walmart who proved if you buy the goods, you could market and sell their goods with a 200% mark up, and make lots of money, and still provide cheap to Americans. They could buy the goods for less than an American manufacturer, could provide them to Walmart for. for they had to pay higher wages or at least wages that were far more than the TWENTY FIVE CENT AN HOUR SLAVE LABOR in China . So, America got what it wanted - "cheap", but in their greed to buy more, and pay less, they never thought for one minute they were buying into a plan that would absolutely destroy the economy of this nation. This would produce the greatest mass move of American manufacturers out of here to foreign countries especially to China, and why wouldn't they do just that?
The American businessman lost their sense of goodness and loyalty, to the bigger profit line over those devoted daily to work for them, a long time ago.
Most American companies like "one well known one, I once worked for", even refer to their employees, as "Capital Assets".
"Capital Assets", can diminish in worth over the years, and thus they depreciate like all capital and in most cases are unappreciated, until they can be replaced with a new capital asset.
Capital assets is something you use to obtain even greater profits.
They are nothing but mere chattel. This is what the American worker became and is today, only good enough for awhile until they can replace you with something new, after awhile it becomes a turnstile of old capital asset out the door, for new captial assets in the door, back to the same cycle of events time after time.

It's the inherited nature of man to seek more power when they have power over others. The Bible calls it the "Sin Nature". The Lust of the Eye, The Lust of the Flesh and the PRIDE OF LIFE!
The love of the WORLD!

American businessman sacrificed all the care of people and their own country to gain more monetary wealth for themselves, no more than anyone else has done in history whenever the opportunity presented itself.
There are a few, and very few businessman, who stayed the course of people over their own personal comfort, and are suffering for it. They are being forced into becoming part of the game, by those holding the power over them, they too were suckered into loose credit, never thinking that things may never stay the same, they spent like wildfire, when they should have been saving. Profitibility can be effected in a large downturn of the economy. This is largely caused by poor government rules and regulations. All that loose credit, resulted in big spending. The one day everyone woke up and it was time to pay the piper his due, now, not while you had money, no why you are broke, they want it back now!
Why, because without it, the whole thing falls apart. The banks fail, the country goes down the tubes. So since we can't collect it, perhaps we turn to government solutions which caused the whole problem in the first place. Perhaps the very one's that were responsible for not putting the right measures out there in the first place, called curtailing credit and making sure credit was extended only in a sensible manner rather than to just anyone at anytime, regardless of their ability to pay it back. This is why I don't believe in credit. It is like declaring yourself God, that you know what tommorrow holds. Jesus stated it very clearly and the Bible tells us, we don't know when we shall die. Now we call on the government who is there supposedly to limit man's sin nature somewhat, we say to them - now fix it. What people don't understand, the government doesn't have any money of their own, that has worth, you do! Government can print money, but only the market determines it's worth. Globalism destroyed the American dollar!
So, taxes are the solution after the big give aways, and now we all face the burden, American business and American worker. Whoops somebody messed up somewhere, could it be that men did, we did just, of course, that's the case.
We Americans did, though it was a great thing for awhile, we could buy all the toys and gadgets made for much less, and even more. We loved cheap, so much, because it gave us more money, to buy more junk!
We became a nation who fell in love with the idea of personal ownership of anything at whatever cost, to family, friends, even our children. Even today, the kids have cell phones, ipods, and DSi's and X boxes, Play stations, and none of these items are really cheap but it has become cheaper for us to placate our children with things than our personal time and love. We excuse ourselves, saying but it cost more to live these days. True in some sense, but not really, I have watched others, spend on themselves, for new cars, new play toys for them, and think this is life, so they offer their children the same thing. They work twice as hard, stealing twice as much time from their children and family to replace it all with useless things, that will soon turn to rust and dust and be forgotten, but the hurt of those children, there pain of not knowing a parents love, will never be forgotten and most of all good values have been replaced with very poor one's - things are more important than people! I have seen people spend 500 to 600 dollars a month just to buy themselves a new vehicle, the latest, the coolest, and yet complain they can't buy their children, health insurance. I can assure you they could have for a lot less. I still drive my 1996 Dodge Truck, that I paid cash for. I don't want to feel the credit crunch. I made the mistake buying a motorcycle on the credit give away, and I regret it to this day, it has been an albatross on me, in more than one way.

I couldnt have my own phone in the house when I was growing up, and we could barely afford to have one as a family.
I had a family and we did family things together, my dad, didnt give us much in the way of things, but he taught me about love and family and God though and even today that is more important to me, than the things of this earth!

These items seemed cheap for Americans who expend all their energy to work and work more for less, to buy more and more junk, neither they need or the kids need.

The Chinese Communist were industrious, smarter than us, and they played the game of war, where war is always won- at the money table.
Wars are neither financed or paid for by patriotism or blood, they are financed and paid for by money. This then results in the blood shed of the children of the poor, while the rich enjoy watching their accomplished victories from afar with their own children safely tucked away in their golden post beds, while the poor American is deceived to think the sacrifice of his own child saved his freedom. Money affords the rich their freedom, what you have, I guarantee you paid for it, if not with the death of your own children in the riches useless wars, you pay for in taxes, and fees, constantly. There isn't much of anything free. Like my Dad always said, be careful of free, you will pay for it some how in the long run. Well we are, have and will continue to do so. Only Christ offers true freedom and its spiritual, nonetheless, freedom use to be much wider known in this country. A thing of the past.

Money drives every form of government, no matter how evil or good you may consider any particular form of government. The poor pay, which keeps them poor, and the rich spend, which keeps them rich.
Now, the game is almost over, The Chinese win - we lose!
Why? I will tell you why, because we failed to understand our enemy while they never failed in understanding us.
The only way that America can ever recover what it has lost, is to farm, manufacture and produce it's own goods again, and cut off all the junk we buy from China.
Why won't it happen? Simply, because we bought their deception and now even our own government has been decieved along with the people of this country. Thus we are now moving toward total Socialist goals in this country. All I can say, is you better buy a Rickshaw now, learn Chinese, and get used to it. Your freedoms are a thing of the past as well.
Everything they intended to do, they have done.
I think, I must quote something I remember Kruschev, the Premier of Russia said, when I was a very young child, I remember it then, because, I understood and was taught the difference between a free market and a government controlled one.
It was a school course, called Americanism versus Communism.
Now, back to what I wanted to say that I recall Kruschev saying. He said in a speech, that they the Communist would never defeat us from without, but they would win the cold war, because they would defeat us from within.
Guess what? Old Kruschev may have been a Communist, but in Biblical terms He was a true prophet, Why? He said it, and it is coming to pass. Here's a Kudo to a communist. He knew what he was talking about, which is much more than I can say for the politicians we have running this country today! They don't even know the difference between a super power and a non super power, that it's not a shame to be called one, when you are trying to protect your nations security.
I think it was Castro that turned that term into a curse word or something to be ashamed of. I'm not, afraid to be called a Super Power, it's what has kept me safe from other nations who wanted to power over us for the 57 years I have lived here now.
Shame on Washington, Shame on America! We lost touch with the simple understanding of who man is, what his problem is, and what the problem is with Big Government.
Our forefathers understood it, but to say that these days in what we have become, puts you somehow on a watch list as a threat. A threat to what? To Whom?
A threat to those who would desire nothing more than to control every aspect of our lives, even our health. Even if you aren't a violent person, to not think like the Socialist /Communist is a threat, thus Stalin and Russia sent many a "free thinker" to the Gulag or Siberia, where free thinkers disappeared to never be heard from again. This is how power stays in power, to shut off free thinking, even if no evil intentions are there. Even if you are a non-resistance person like me. They can't afford to have people who march to the sound of a different drummer. It's always been that way, Jesus turned the Pharisee's live's upside down, they couldnt afford to have the people follow him, less they lose their power, as they said, and everyone follow after Him.

Well, all I can say, is that is a shame that our own leaders have forgot who we are, what we are, and how we ever became a nation in the first place. Shame on all of us! We have forgotten what Communism is. We lose, they win.....and I hate to say it but I told you so.
I find it hard to believe that so many Americans have fallen under the deception that government can do better than the individual at fixing problems.
One nation under God, means when we find ourselves individually, giving God the glory he deserves and the attention that is rightfully His in our lives over all the money, and junk we have filled our lives up with, we might survive.
I just don't see it happening, when I stand back and look at our love for money, and all those who never realize or understand that it is the love of money, that is the root of ALL EVIL! God help us, but I believe that these old eyes are seeing the last vestiges of what once was the greatest Super Power in the world, both financially and in terms of protecting it's interest, all it's interest. That may sound selfish, and in terms of the religious liberal mind, probably so, but it is reality.

One must be strong to remain strong, this works in our spiritual lives as well. The day, you gave up reading your Bibles, for everything else in your life, the day you gave up family mealtime together, and the day you traded your life to be lived for money and things instead of your Creator, the love of others, including your own family, you lost the greatest Super Power there ever was for mankind, it is called Spiritual Power, and history has proven time after time, a spiritually weakened nation may enjoy the pleasures of sin for awhile but soon or later it catches up with them, and it all comes falling down. Look at Rome or any nation in history, American is nothing special, we too are a fallen and failing nation, and like all great empires we too will disappear as such into the annuls of history, and what tales will our great great grand children tell then while they are sitting at the feet of their Emperorer?

With love for the country I grew up in. Not perfect nor God's chosen nation, but nonetheless, it was far more perfect than the communist nations I knew about. While the children ate porridge, I had eggs and bacon. Now our children are eating worse than porridge, they are eating and being taught that Communism is good, materialism is good and everyone should have equality in having it, and the lie is told that Socialism insures that and America of the past is very very bad.
They too will pay, believe me in the greatest tax bondage to ever hit a nation in history before it finally falls under whatever God forbid rule they shall find themselves in the very near future. Hopefully, my days will have ended, and I am quite sure with the coming plans to control our outcomes in life, the new powers will see to it, that my days are few. They will control my choice of healthcare, job, education, finances, everything about my life, and as the old saying goes, whatever is of least benefit to the overall good of all, should be extinguished. Thus all of us up and coming old generation will not have our choice to live long, and enjoy our great grandchildren and their children, because someone higher up will make the decision for us, and say - "useless, let em die".
It will save the community of others a lot of money and trouble, why bother with them, send them to the Euthenasia clinic....and let us begone of them..
Holland can do it, we will too. God help us all, the road is spiraling evermore downward, and it is our sin, that has brought it upon us. We are so enthralled with ourselves, we have lost ourselves. America remains as was in some hearts in this country, and we desire nothing more than to see it return to the once great nation it was to live in. I just don't see an answer, just like Israel of old, when you get so far gone, it's gone, it sometimes takes captivity to make a person realize how precious freedom is. We are just beginning to start to think about it, but a little too late. The enemy is broken down the gates and the city is over run!
China will never say, "Uncle" and now you understand why. They win- we lose.

With sincere love in Christ who cares about spiritual freedom most of all,

Dr. J.

Welcome To My Blog

This is my personal blog, that shall be first and foremost my personal opinion on Christianity versus the World.
Though, Jesus said we shall be in the world, He clearly taught us, we are not to be of the world. Here I can put forth, my theological, eschatological, soteriological, and Christology, as it should effect us as citizens of this world. The first point I want to make, is The Kingdom of God is not one which we await, it is now, in the hearts of millions of individuals who have life in Christ. The world will continue to rely on and feed on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. It will always be full of confusion, chaos, and even more confusion, especially for Christians. The reason most Christians find confusion in this world, is their lack of understanding, reading and internalizing the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. The very first thing we must grasp is that the Father is absolutely sovereign over all His creation. In so being, we will not find the answers by looking to the physical creations of man, his knowledge, his so called wisdom, etc. We can only discover Him, by knowing Him first, and as long as Christians try to perceive of God outside of the physical manifestation and words of His Son, we will remain confused. Paul stated very simply, the carnal mind CANNOT understand Spiritual matters. Thus religion pushes and drives man to find the answers in this physical universe by physical senses. What you come up with is confusion, chaos, and literally a destroying of the faith of the faithful. We must comprehend that God in His majesty can be understand only in the light of Christ life, death, resurrection and His fulfilling of all prophecy as related to the Jewish nation of Old. We are not to be looking for hope, we are to be living in hope. The first problem that we encounter as humans, is learning, that we are not in control, of the events, the history, of this world, or even our own lives. That God is one, and He is SOVEREIGN.
I have been dealing with these things in a greater way than ever imagined the last 8 years, since the death of my wife in 2001, my re-marriage in 2003, and now looking at my parents as they grow older everyday. My father just this past week was rushed to the hospital for a possible heart attack, he suffers Atrial Fibrillation, just as I do. He has been there for a week now, one minute, they say he has percarditis, an infection in the heart sack, the watery bag that God saw fit to place our hearts in, to protect them. The very same sack that the soldier pierced with his sword on Christ, and then pierced His heart.
I have been angry, depressed, angry again, and then most of all depressed. Why?
I am discovering the Sovereignty of God. Most of us, think we either control our lives, and the lives of others, or we desire to take control. Here I am, unable to be there with them, due to financial strains, financial obligations, etc. Here I am, and he lies in a hospital some 1600 miles away from me in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My mother is weakened by it all, my sister drove down to help she is only six hours away, and yet, they despair, because, my sister sees their needs, and my mother won't let her help.
I would move them nearby, tommorrow, if they would allow me to do so, to look after them, but because my mother and father still have enough of their mental facilities, they refuse to budge, not one iota will they think about moving to be near either one of us. The expectations are that we can give up our jobs, families and all, and rush out there and be there, whenever they need us for however long it takes.
They like most of us, want to control their own lives and even their deaths, and yet, they are no more able to control their circumstances in life, than you and I. None of us, can control what happens to us in this life, where we will go, how and when we will die, what kind of work we shall do to earn our bread, what our children will do, how much money we will make, where we will live, or where we will go. Unfortunately, this is the brunt but simple truth.
God is teaching us a lesson as children, we aren't on our own.
He is still our Father, our Creator, and as such, He makes all decisions, whether we like it or not. This is why we become angry. We have come to the realization that we control nothing. Absolutely NOTHING, we are not gods, we have no authority, power, or ability to control our lives.
Oh! yes, there are those, who may have more money, affording them more freedom then others, even perhaps more control, yet I've seen them with their wealth, it still didnt provide them the control they want over their own lives. I have watched their children, hurt them, I have watched their money, destroy them, and watched them die but by their own hand at times and by the simple thing we all must do, DIE!
There is no way out on that one, even the best healthcare, with the finest of Doctors or money, can't save you from that one appointment, no matter who you are, which in the end proves God's sovereignty.

Thus God when he created man, didn't make man immortal. There is no immortality outside of being joined with Him in Spirit, for he is the Immortal One. If we have not Christ, then we are dead, in our mortality and their is no life ahead to percieve. If we are in Christ, though our bodies are mortal, and shall return to dust as anyone else's will, yet shall my eyes behold the glory of the Lord, for we are spiritually immortal because He is Spirit, and our spirit is now of the image of Him as a believer, we have Eternal Life now, but immortality after we shed this mortal coil.
God in his wonderful grace, sees to it in His smarvelous love, that for those that aren't joined to Him, they too shall find rest, but it is in eternal death and darkness, where they are remembered no more, and neither shall they remember days past, days present or anything to come. For the dead have no thought at all. Judged, yes, tormented throughout eternity, no! These concepts were developed in pagan religion and the catholic church incorporated them into State Christianity, to control the masses, and even today, others seek to bring people to God, not from a sense of knowing His love, but fearing Him. How foolish that is.
How can one come to love their Father, if he threatens them, to torture them and punish them for all eternity if they don't. That's not a love relationship, that's a relationship built on abuse. I could not love my own earthly father if he told me, love me or else, I will capture you, and hold your body in a physical fire, and torture, you, and not only torture you, I will see that you live, to do this over and over again to no end!
What a hateful, and abusive father that would be.

I love my Creator, because He first loved me. I love my Creator because He gave me life through His Son, to be a son, a child of His. I don't fear Him in that sense, I fear what is out there, outside of His love, what this world holds to destroy you, the things that could reek havoc in your life. I fear what I have already known as a reality, that outside of Father's arms, there is no life, just death and judgement, in this life, the here and now and yet and alas, DEATH to the maximum- eternal death, mortality brought to a conclusion.

John 3:16 says, " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him, shall not perish (die, have no life, be destroyed, annihilated, vanquished) but has everlasting life. God did not say, that whoever believes not in His Son, shall be tortured, by Satan and his demons, in a fiery pit of real flames licking your body, burning your flesh forever and ever. Man created that bunk, and unfortunately for far too long, an inappropriate picture of a loving God. God our Father of all life has been painted and twisted into a picture of a horrible, demanding, self centered, can't wait to punish you, mean Creator, that is just waiting to hold a match to those who want no relationship with Him.

What He says, is your my child, my creation, I care about you, love you, want to spend all eternity with you, I want you to know and experience my love to it's fullest for all of eternity or else you will die to the fullest extent of DEATH. since you are dead spiritually, and I am Spirit and you will DIE physically, this is what he says, and that death is eternal for you are mere mortal man, without my Life joined to your life. For only I am holy, and immortal, and you cannot be either one, unless you are spiritually joined to me, by trust in my only BEGOTTEN SON- Jesus Christ.
It is then and only then we become partakers of His Divine nature. Paul said He that is joined to the Lord is one with the Lord. To be ABSENT from the body is to present with the Lord. We are mere clay vessels, in which our loving Father right now chooses to put His life in, us, if we will simply place our trust in Christ, without Him, you have denied yourseld access to the Tree of Eternal Life. Eternal life begins here now, but immortal life is only for believers at the end of their mortal life on this earth. and so shall we be with the Lord forever more. I am thankful to know that my parents trust Christ, but as all of us, do we really, all the time? I think not, because our entire lives we have been told, that we are the Captains of our souls and the Master's of our fate. Somewhere, I heard something to that effect come out of the mouth of a little creature, the most cunning of all of God's creations, the serpent. For you shall not die, God is only trying to keep you from being a god, eat, taste, and enjoy for you shall live. The problem with teaching man, all men are created immortal is, it comes right out of the mouth of the SERPENT!

No, if you don't have Christ right now, you are already judged, shall be judged, and shall die for all eternity, and you have no hope. I have hope, He is my hope! He overcame, and because He lives, and lives in me, I shall overcome this world, and even my mortality, for I shall live, even as He does, for eternity, in the presence of my loving Creator. For God is love! I trust Him, though I may fail at times, He has never failed me.
